Summary: Outstanding book on real estate.
Review: As a real estate investor I am very picky about recommending books to people unless I know the book is very good. I purchased both the inspection and appraisal books from this author and recommend them to other investors I know since they are outstanding in their in-depth content. Many of the topics and advice in these books are far better than other books I've read. You will learn about the realities of investing in real estate and how to save thousands of dollars when you invest in a home or rental property.

Summary: Essential book if you're serious about real estate
Review: Excellent! I have a large library of books dealing with many real estate topics. I found this book to be by far the best available for home inspection advice. It even gives a lot of information about going into business as a home inspector since it's written for both the home buyer and for people looking for a home-based business as an inspector.

Review: For the past 20 years I have invested in real estate and found a world of great information and advice in this book. I only wish I had bought this book sooner since it would have saved me a lot of money. Whenever I buy an investment property I hired a home inspector and after reading this book I realized how amatuer they really were. Now I have a gauge to use to determine who is a good inspector and who isn't. I will be able to inspect houses on my own shortly.

Review: Guy Cozzi knocks it out the box with this very informative book on what to do look for when buying a House&things that must be on point when you want your House.I had the pleasure of reading this book&was moved by the details&things were said in a way that everyone could relate to.very classy on Mr.Cozzi's Part with all of His details&helpful tips.a must have.

Review: I purchased both books by this author after reading an article about them in the newspaper. They are filled with information that saved me thousands of dollars when I sold my first home and then when I purchased my next home. Great reference if you have a house and want to eliminate safety hazards and repair problems.

Summary: Home Inspection Business From A to Z (CD)
Review: I'm in agreement with other readers who have mentioned that the CD is a pain to deal with... and I'm an Information Technology Director! After seceral days of working through email, with the manufacturer, I was finally able to get the proper authorization string which would allow me to open the product. After that, I discovered that this product (a PDF file) was NOT CAPABLE OF BEING PRINTED. Ultimately, this means that you need to sit in front of your computer the entire time you're reading the material - NOT a preferred situation!The manufacturer mentions through email, that "for an additional fee, you can get the printable version", and they offer a link to their web site. Forget it!

Review: Reading this book opened my eyes to all the ways I should inspect my home to maintain and repair all parts of my home. I didn't realize how many hazardous conditions there are in a home effecting my family's safety. Highly recommend this information for anyone who owns a home.
