Summary: 2 OBSERVATIONS HERE:
Review: NUMBER 1.

AGAIN, SO NOTORIOUS ARE FANATIC LIBERALS FOR COMMITTING THIS GUILTY ACT, IT'S SECOND NATURE--ALL THESE NERVOUSLY RADICAL 5 STAR KRUGMANIMROD WORSHIPPERS DO NOT EVER DISCUSS THE SUPPOSED MERITS IN KRUGMANIMROD'S YELLOW JOURNALISM. ALL THAT THEY EVER DO IS DISHONESTLY SHIFT SUSPICION FROM THEMSELVES BY DEFAMING THE RELATIVELY FEW PEOPLE WHO'RE CRITICAL OF KRUGMANIMROD. FEW PEOPLE, MEANING THAT IT'S ONLY A MODERATE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO, RIGHTFULLY, EXPRESS THEIR DISPLEASURE AT KRUGMANIMROD, YET THESE RADICAL LEFTISTS WON'T EVEN TOLERATE THEM FOR FREE SPEECH.

NUMBER 2.

I SHOCKINGLY NOTICED THE SOUTH WEYMOUTH READER BEING SUCH A HYPOCRITICALLY TYRANNICAL PHARISEE, WHEN HE PROCLAIMED ABSOLUTELY THAT ONE STAR REVIEWERS DON'T CARE ABOUT "AMERICA'S PRESENT POLITICAL AND FINANCIAL SITUATION". BEING AN EXTREMIST, HE DICTATORIALLY ASSUMES THAT HIS NARROW-MINDED, KRUGMANIMROD-BELIEVING PARANOIA IS THE ONLY TRUTH, AND THAT WHAT KRUGMANIMROD WRITES ABOUT IS 100% UNOPPOSED.

PERSONALLY, I DISBELIEVE THAT LIBERALS HAVE DESCENDED INTO THIS UNGODLY RADICALISM THAT ARE DISPLAYED ON REVIEW PAGES OF THEIR FUNDAMENTALIST IDOLS' PRODUCTS, BUT THESE EXTREMISTS WHO BLINDLY SUCCUMB TO GIVING THEMSELVES TO THE HEAVILY PARTISAN BRAINWASHING OF THE LIKES OF KRUGMANIMROD ARE GIVING EVEN LIBERALS A SOILED REPUTATION.

Summary: Could Conservatives pleeease make a good argument?!?
Review: I am amazed how Conservatives continue with their ad hominem attacks on these writers, and yet never seem to attack the substance that's written. Paul Krugman's critics, unfortunately, are no different. Though much of what he's written has been seen before in his NYTimes editorials, he asserts himself well with sound statistics. It is quite sad that his critics cannot argue his points, but must attack his character instead. Nothing new really, just the same old rhetoric from the Right Wingers - if you can't argue the substance, attack the character. Nevermind the fact that he's a moderate. If his policies and opinions differ from the Right, he must be wrong! If we can't prove him wrong, we'll brand him as unethical!

Sorry dittoheads, the rest of the country is on to you and your weak attacks. Faux News may be in your back pocket, but anyone with a little intelligence can pick apart your rhetoric and dim wit personal attacks. I anxiously await any dittohead to pick apart Krugman's book on substance.

To the rest of the readers, this is a must read. Very well written.

Summary: Everyone must read this book
Review: I don't understand that hatered from all those reviewers with one star. Do they not care about America and it's present political and financial situation?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: "Just say no" to Krugman's detractors - please read the book
Review: One of the reviewers further down this page sums it up perfectly: "..while the third of the nation that is close-minded and ideologically-blindered on the right may give the author short shrift, the other two thirds .... should take Krugman very seriously."

Furthermore, I'd encourage you to keep on reading through ALL the reader reviews of this book - there's presently another 63 below this one - because you'll see just HOW close-minded (and hateful!) many of Krugman's detractors are. The idiotic 'reviews' from these people reinforce what huge trouble America is getting itself into.

Summary: right wing reviewers offer same drivel
Review: its funny how all of the reviewers who came down against this book did so, not by substantively challenging any argument or claiming empirical flaws in krugman's analysis, but attacking it as part of some sort of left wing consipiracy. we hear the same drivel from right wing tv personalities like coulter, hannity , etc. for them, politics is about distracting people and not discussing matters of facts.

Summary: Misinformation at it's best (worst?)
Review: Well, basically a tome of bitterness, lies, half-truths, and quite frankly, sickening partisan slop! I love it, Enron, Global Crossing, MCI/Worldcom, the dot-com fiasco...Slick Willie once again slides out of office just as the economy and the market bubble bursts (all set up during Clinton's watch), the US gets hit with 9/11, and this clown (Krugman) and all of his partners in hate (Franken, Moore, et al)try to pass the blame to Bush. Uh, boys and girls? Bush is cleaning up the mess wrought by Slick Willie and gang (his justice department, his state department, well, his administration).

Move over boys, the real men and real women are back in charge.

Summary: A careful outlining of a great tragedy
Review: This is a careful outlining of a great tragedy - how a country with an enormous surplus threw the money away and is now mired in debt. It is sobering reading. Christopher Catherwood, author of CHRISTIANS MUSLIMS AND ISLAMIC RAGE (Zondervan, 2003)

Summary: Krugman gives us the BIG PICTURE!
Review: Krugman doesn't miss the big picture - he gives us the big picture, all 100% honest truth. For those of you like me who love his column in the newspaper, this book is essential reading. Christmas is coming - buy a copy for all your friends and then some!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent - every voter should read this
Review: This is an excellent collection of columns the author wrote for the New York times. He is talking straight numbers and hard facts, and uncovers the consistent lying of the administration to justify everything they propose with phony numbers and made-to-fit arguments. The author is competent and courageous to offer such views and should be congratulated for his work.

I have never been a fan of this administration, and having read this book didn't change anything about my views. To the contrary: Paul Krugman made so obvious the strategies used by the administration to push their extremist agenda, using peoples fear of terrorist attacks and the underperforming economy as means to his ends. It seems that it is fair to say that there would be more reason to impeach this president than there has ever been reason to impeach Clinton.

Just one word for those who write very undifferentiated reviews of this book, using words like "terrorist loving scum", "hamas-buddies" and so on. Wake up! You are abused! Read this book with an open mind, and you will see why. There is nothing to win from supporting this president anymore. He is sending this fabulous country (of which I am not a citizen) down the tubes and does nothing to improve the economy or to stop terrorism. He is just telling you he does, and you believe it blindly. Dissent isn't treason, but blind consent is a crime.

Summary: most annoying kid in the class writes a book
Review: Krugman's partisanship misses the Big Picture, that the bigger the government sector, the bigger the economic problems. He is the Three-Handed Economist who qualifies every statement so that later he can say "I told you so" no matter what happens. From a historical perstpective his analyses are extraordinarily ignorant. Krugman wins the debate with facile non-sequitors, but loses the election. We can be happy this guy isn't in office.
