Summary: Read this book over and over
Review: Mike and Jason, thank you for writing this book. This is a fantastic book for anyone that have dreams to become successful in business and life, and to make a difference for themselfs and other people. I am reading this book for the third time and i get more useful information each time I read it. The book is very easy to read and the fact that Mike keeps the stream of information flowing from these outstanding individuals, keep perking my interest. My first tape series that I bought was by Jim Rohn back in 1984. He still inspires me along with many, many outstanding people that he has interviewed. This is a MUST book. Everyone should have it. I can't wait until they write another one. Thanks Mike and Jason

Summary: MUST READ
Review: This book is an absolute must read if you want your business or your personal life to go to the next level! This is just like being able to sit and ask the questions you would want to ask if you were able to be right in the same room with these successful men and woman! Just think of it as YOUR conversation with Millionaires!

Summary: Success Leaves Clues....
Review: There are only two ways of being successful in business... doing it yourself (the long, hard way), or learning from others that have already done it (the smarter -and faster- way). Why reinvent the wheel? Reading the interviews Mike did with nine successful millionaires is like a roadmap to getting anything you want... success, wealth... you name it.

The people he interviews are true success stories in all walks of life... and you can't walk away without picking up valuable tips, strategies, beliefs and pure motivation to accomplish anything you want. Mike's passion for his craft shows through in his conversations... and it's pleasantly addictive!

I'm normally satisfied if I get one idea from what I read or listen to... because all it takes is one to change your life, to start in a new direction, or take your life to the next level. Every time I read "Conversations" I walk away with something new... another success clue that wasn't evident the last time I read it. Call me very satisfied!

Don't miss it... it's a must for anyone that truly wants to get more out of their life and business. Feed your mind the good stuff. Invest in yourself... read it (often), learn and most importantly, take action!

Bravo Mike and Jason!

Summary: Conversations that Change Your Life!
Review: This is the first self-help book I've ever read. I had a very skeptical view of self-help books and didn't think they were worth my time. There were so many sublime truths in this book about how you can become successful (that I never realized before but agreed with wholeheartedly as soon as I read them), that it made me hungry for more. I love how the authors told about their failures, and how failures only make you stronger-- as long as you don't quit!

Each author has their own style and unique message which harmonized with the other authors. The authors give you very specific instructions about things you can do today. Including mantras you can say to yourself and simple visualization techniques to help poor self-esteem. (Before reading this book, I thought visualization techniques were way too complicated, so I really appreciated these easy techniques.)

Jim Rohn tells you how small steps build up to lead you to success. These authors did not get rich quickly. It happened in steps and took years, and that's why their advice is realistic.

Multiple authors explain how you can get more by giving more-and you don't have to be rich to do it. This is a very powerful message that I personally have never heard from successful people until recently.

This book is not just for people who want to be successful in business. It gives you lots of things to do to become successful by becoming a better person and managing your existing income better. It's not a book full of theory and philosophy. It's a step-by-step "tutorial for a new you" by multiple authors.

The only opinion that I had some disagreement with was that of Michael Gerber, author of The E-Myth. He implies that every business should franchise itself. I'm not sure that will work for everyone. But still he's definitely right about many things, such as creating a system that can be duplicated by others, even if you don't build a franchise.

This book is the perfect start for a book series. Mike Litman and Jason Oman are on a roll and I can't wait to read Conversations with Millionaires 2!

Addendum:
After 3 years of running online businesses, I now agree with Michael Gerber, author of The E-Myth, that businesses should be built to be franchised. This is the concept behind products that come with resale rights. If you read about very successful marketers such as Ted Nicholas, you'll find that most of them do eventually sell their businesses. It is also how business owners become millionaires and then billionaires (such as McDonald's) -- because they make residual income from franchises and make more money with the same amount of work.

Summary: Informative and helpful
Review: A very informative and thought-provoking book. It is a good read. I would also strongly recommend an upcoming bestseller, ie. Emerson Lee's Time-Honored Wisdoms on Wealth creation which provides 70 inspiring and profound secrets on wealth creation and fruitful living.

Summary: Watch Out!
Review: When I saw the name Robert Allen that was a great big red flag! Remember the "nothing down" craziness? Now it's informercials disguised as books. Don't waste any money on this nonsense.

Summary: Wanna be a millionaire?
Review: As a 16 year old beginning millionaire, I have been effected by this book immensly. The content and richness of strategy is amazingly easy to understand. This wasn't written to suit my style, it was written to light my torch in starting my own business. The interviewer, Mike Liteman is highly motivational and his style of interviewing has screamed to me: action. Each of the people Mike and Jason interviewed were brought out to their best and fullest by the in-depth and straight questions asked by Mike Liteman.
After reading this book, I want to start my business and take off into becoming a millionaire. After what this book has done to my life, I encourage you to read it.

Summary: Amazingly disappointing
Review: After all the hype.
After the other reviews.
And after the recommendations of others I personally know who've read this...

This was among the most over-hyped and disappointing books I've purchased. I'm honestly sorry I wasted the money.

The idea here is that Mr. Litman has his own radio show where he interviews successful business owers or self-improvement guru's; and this book is the abridged transcripts of some of these interviews.

Some are interesting to read. Other's have one or two interesting tidbits. A few of the people I'd never heard of until I found out what they'd founded or what their business was.

In almost every situtation the chapter is a discussion about how great the interviewee is, a few themes in their individual books, and then probably a set of 'rules' (say, 7 or so) that they followed on their way to success.

The facts presented here are juvenille, shallow, and *extremely* basic. It's almost insulting how this book is hyped and the total lack of usefull or helpful information found within.

Fluff, self-hype, and shallow content (when there is any). Spend your money on The One Minute Millionaire. It's a hundred times the book this is.

Summary: This is my bible!
Review: I just loved this book. A friend lent it to me and I was so impressed I ordered my own from Amazon the same day.

All the greatest motivational, business and investment brains in one book - magic!

You can't help but be motivated by Mike Litman's personal style too - you feel like you are actually in the room with him rather than reading a book.

One word of warning though - you will need more than one highlighter pen!

Summary: Inspiring for the Soul -- It's Helping Me Think BIG
Review: Last year, Mike was nice enough to send me this book, I barely read it. I'd just gotten married, just moved across the country, and was just chillin' in our new beach house.

After digging it out from my bookshelf last week and starting to read it, I can't tell you how much I realize I NEEDED this book. I think was subconsciously waiting for the RIGHT time to read it.

Working by myself so much, solely via email and phone and occasional local networking, I hadn't realized how starved I am to be surrounded by VERY SUCCESSFUL people who INSPIRE me.

A recent seminar was my "great awakening", and this book is sending me off to bed each night with inspirational, positive, and BIG dreams! It's my daily dose of advice from people whom I aspire to be like. My favorite so far (I'm up to the first five) has been the Mark Victor Hansen interview. "Teach to learn!"

Anyhow, not sure if this all makes sense, but thank you Mike (and Jason). NOW is my time, and I'm going to kick some [booty]. : )
