Summary: Eliminating the painful side of sales
Review: Hate cold-calling? Big Yes! A referral is the ultimate lead with the greatest chance of success and least amount of 'sales pain'.

If you're trying to step up your sales, or you're just getting into sales like I was when I got this book, Endless Referrals has got more concentrated, DO-ABLE ideas in one book to get more leads than I've seen.

Bob's style of writing is special. A kinder, gentler approach to getting sales. He shows us an integrity of doing sales that takes us up more than a notch from the slimy stereotype of aggressiveness that hinders many from attempting a profitable and enjoyable career in sales. A wonderful glimpse of the bigger picture of how to be successful in sales.

Summary: BEST BOOK ON GETTING ENDLESS REFERRALS!
Review: I bought this book over 2 years ago to learn how to master the technique of getting referrals on a daily basis. After reading this book, I have had great success in obtaining names for my business. This book helped me to overcome my fears and it taught me how to be relaxed while making a business contact. This book and its advise has made me a very successful person in my field of business. For anyone wanting to succeed in contacting and referrals for their business, this is the book to read!

Summary: A Good Start
Review: I chose to read two books, one right after the other - Endless Referrals by Bob Burg and Business by Referral by Misner and Davis (also reviewed). Endless Referrals takes a very "real world" approach to the business referral process. It's direct, hard-hitting information. Bob Burg gets to the point immediately. I became very enthusiastic about Bob Burg's system and immediately began integrating it into my referral process. His ideas about making the initial contact and following up with that individual are a must for anyone in the business of generating referral-based sales. The book is full of examples of good and bad business actions, which Bob tightly weaves into the specific element of the process being discussed. The chapters on home-based businesses were very good, and even though I am not in home-based sales, I gleaned a few good ideas which I can apply. I found only one shortcoming. Bob Burg didn't really take the process far enough. I think he fell short in the systematic follow-up process of utilizing the information you have gained from a contact to build your business and your contact base.

I give a solid recommendation for this book; it is a must read for anyone wanting to generate referral-based sales or anyone who is in the selling business for the long haul. Utilizing Bob's techniques, you'll begin immediately to build a solid foundation for referral-based sales.

Summary: Must have to build your business in this economy
Review: I have moved from a technical support position to owning my own business. I needed to learn how to network effectively. Endless Referrals has provided me with the skills and confidence I needed to build rapport and trust with others. I much prefer working from referrals than cold calls.

This book teaches a priceless skill that is needed for becoming successfully profitable in sales; how to work with prospects that are already open to your message. Summary: I am receiving amazing results from Burg's suggestions.
Review: I put one suggestion of this terrific book into action and landed a $2,000,000 account. I started sending prospects a note pad with my picture, address, phone, and benefit statement every four to six weeks. Nine months later, after this particular prospect received six of my note pads, he called me and became the third largest client my company has for four years running. The principles in Burg's book are sound techniques.

Thanks Bob, Steve Kaiser

Summary: Well Worthwhile To Read
Review: I work in the direct in-home sales industry. Referrals are my life blood. Burg offers some VERY simple, practical (but often overlooked) advice on how to get more referrals from customers. There's plenty in here for you to digest so get your highlighter & sticky notes ready for you to mark it up for quick finding! Good Selling To You!

Summary: A refreshing change from motivational sales.
Review: If you are set on being in high pressure sales , this is not the book for you. If you need to transform yourself into a professional salesperson, Bob Burg will show you how to do it. This is my only reference book on sales I have kept and referred to regularly. I plan on re-reading the section on remembering faces and names.
