Summary: A *MUST READ* for couples trying to conceive
Review: We tried to conceive for a year and got pregnant immediately after reading the book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Informative, and enlighting
Review: It is amazing that women can go through their lives without knowing the information in this book.

I think this book should be given every young women as sson as she hits puberty.

The questions that were answered with this book were ones that I had been wondering about for years.

Although, I purchased this book because I am have had problems conceiving for a year and half, I feel like I actual just started trying to conceive in the last four months because of the information I was provided with.

Even if I have to go through technical means to get pregnant the charting I having been doing is going to provide my doctor (and myself) with time saving and important information.

Summary: I wished I had know all of this 10 years ago!
Review: Highly informative. Every gynecologist and obstetrician should give out this book to new patients.

Summary: An Essential Introduction to Your Body
Review: TCOYF has a well-deserved cult following among women trying to conceive. For me, it was an introduction to my own body. I had no idea so much was going on in there! If you are trying to conceive, this must be the first book you read... but not the last. When its time to learn more about increasing fertility, check out "Dr. Richard Marrs' Fertility Book" and Dr Sherman Silber's "How to Get Pregnant."

Summary: Everything I Was Hoping to Find
Review: Toni's book is incredible-- everything I always wanted to know about my body and more, collected in one friendly source. Sure, there's scattered information available elsewhere on using natural methods of birth control, but it's hard to find, usually written by someone who treats the reader like an idiot, and assumes that every woman fits the "average" pattern. Not this book. Toni realizes knowledge gives control and comfort. She explains some of the variations women see in their patterns and gives details and references without sacrificing the clarity and simplicity of it all. I borrowed it from a friend, read it cover to cover and bought my own copy in less than 2 weeks.

Summary: A World of Indispensible Information!
Review: I am so glad I happened across this book at the book store. I never knew there were easy answers to all those questions I've been asking, but no OB/GYN's had the answers for. I am planning to give this book to my sisters, mom, step-mom, and anyone else I might think of. In fact, I think my OB/GYN (who will also receive a copy) should give it to all of her staff. Thanks for making being a woman much easier.

Summary: A straightforward, wonderful take-charge guide for couples
Review: I have 20 years of experience in obstetrical nursing. I found Toni's book to be a treasure! Whether planning or avoiding pregnancy naturally, this book is for all women and their partners. My husband has just finished reading it and was surprised at how much he didn't now about women's reproductive health. I have already recommended it to several friends who are attempting to conceive.

Summary: Not as much as what I wanted
Review: It has a lot of good information but nothing that I think you couldn't find on the 'net or just common knowledge. I have been trying to get pregnant for 18 months and I pretty much knew all that she went over in her book. I was disapointed but it would probably be a good book if you weren't sure about your ferility.

Summary: I conceived my son within days of reading this book.
Review: I bought Taking Charge of Your Fertility on 5/6/96 and my last period started on 5/8/96. I found out I was pregnant early in June. Taking my temp wasn't helping me figure out when I ovulated. I learned from this book that there are other signs of ovulation and was able to use them in order to get pregnant. When I'm ready for another child I'll read this book again.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I didn't realise there was so much I didn't know!
Review: Overall this is the most informative book I have ever read on the subject of fertility. Easy to read, understand and put into practise... everything everyone should know in one book. BRILL !!
