Review: I have heard about this book for over a year, but I always told friends that "I already know how my body works." Wow, was I wrong! It is extremely well written and quite simply the most informative work on woman's health I have ever read. It doesn't matter if you're using the information within for birth control or to get pregnant or just to learn more about your own body; It is a cornucopia of information for all women. Indeed, my only criticism would be that the title does not do the book justice.

Review: We got pregnant our very first month of charting. We tried for a boy but we won't know until June, 2000 if that part was a success! In any event, I can't recommend this book enough!! It taught me so many things I didn't know about my own body. I'm going to keep it and share it with my daughter when she reaches puberty. It's full of invaluable information, and a book every woman should have on her bookshelf!

Review: Hurrah to Toni Weschler for exposing the Pill as an abortifacient! This courageous and knowlegeable woman is teaching the loving and natural way to plan a family. I would recommend this book to any woman, though I found unnecessary the anecdotes involving whipped-cream and vibrators.

Review: This book is really fantastic. There was a chart for everytype of "what if" question you may have. The book focuses on the FAM method (Fertitily Awareness Method). Unlike other books on the subject, which I have read several, this book actually gave me answers and showed me exactly what my chart would look like in every type of circumstance (such as having a fever, not ovulating, traveling, breastfeeding, pregnant, miscarriage, etc.) Plus it gave me very detailed answers about how to figure out if you may be a person that will have problems conceiving so that you know when to rush to the doctor's and when to just relax. It is really a great book for anyone who wants to have a baby or wishes to try a natural method of birth control.

Review: I just cannot Thank Toni Weschler enough! I have wondered about my body for many years. I did not know whether or not the things I experienced on a monthly basis were normal. Now I know so much more, thanks to this book. I can use what I have learned to time things just right for pregnancy. Little did I know that these same lessons would apply to birth control, too. I highly recommend this book to all women. If you are not trying to get pregnant or you like your current method of birth control, you can still benefit from the lessons in this book. There are things in here that every woman will recognize and wonder why it had never been explained to them before.

Review: Although I consider myself to be a well-educated person, I quickly realized how little I knew about my own fertility. I read this book cover to cover in 2 days. (It might look intimidating, but it's a fast read) I am happy to say that I am enjoying my first pregnancy!! I really believe that reading this book was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. It has really changed my life!!

Review: This is a great book. After reading through half of it, I was so angry. All I kept thinking was, "why didn't anyone ever tell me these things?" Especially how important charting your temperature is. Very informative.
