Rating: Summary: The First Step in Trying to Conceive! Review: I would recommend that EVERY women who is even thinking about getting pregnant invest in this book! I read it in one weekend after I received it, however I continue to go back to the book as a reference tool, time and time again.
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully Written! Review: Toni Weschler does a wonderful job explaining the female reproductive system. My husband and I tried to conceive our second child for several months before I finally bought this book. I read it in one night, began charting, and became pregnant 4 months later! I quickly learned that my cycle was between 32-42 days long. I was even able to tell that I was pregnant, by a second rise in my BBT, even before taking a pregnancy test. This book will truely answer many of your questions as you try to conceive. It worked for us...don't give up!
Rating: Summary: Every woman should read this! Review: I learned more about my body and especially my reproductive system from this book in the first three chapters, than I ever learned from any other source. It was comforting to realize that I too am "normal", even though my cycles aren't 28 days! Its been just a few months since I read the book, but I can already predict my fertile days during every cycle.I have recommended this text to every one of my friends!
Rating: Summary: ALL MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED AT LAST! Review: What a wonderful book! All of my questions were answered, the basal body temperature was explained, and we are rapidly charting for conception! Better than any other fertility book I've read!
Rating: Summary: Take Charge! Review: I sat down and read this book in two days it was very informative and easy to read. It was not written in difficult medical jargon but in easy to understand layman's terms. It has given me a new found freedom and the positive encouagement that was much needed. After trying to concieve for over two years I feel in more control over my body and my ability to concieve. I no longer feel that it is all my fault. Your western doctor will probably not offer this information freely. It is truly a must read.
Rating: Summary: Highly recommended Review: An excellent book with Fertility Awareness Method explained in layman terms, that could be valuable not only in helping a woman learn more about her body, but also making it easier for her doctor help her in a more efficient manner. My personal recommendation to anyone who's trying to figure out the nuances of getting pregnant.
Rating: Summary: Taking Charge of the Frustration Review: After 1 1/2 years of trying for a baby, my frustration levels have been at maximum. However, after spending an evening reading this book, I now feel there is hope. Even if I don't conceive right away, I'll have enough knowledge of my body and its cycles to help my doctor help me . PS.... I'll let you all know how things go!
Rating: Summary: Yahoo! Was This Book On the Bestseller List! Review: I just finished reading this book and it has given me a feeling of power. I have so many friends who are having babies, or are confirmed bachelorettes. This book is truly wonderful for either group. I was sick (literally) of taking The Pill, my husband and I don't like using condoms but felt we had to use something. Now, I will now exactly when I am fertile (I thought I was was pregnant by accident but figured out that I was just stressed causing late ovulation). I love this book and am charting my temperature for future reference. My husband jokes that we're a scientific experiment and hasn't quite got used to the thermometer every morning but it is early days yet. I can tell he is getting into it by asking "what does that mean?" after my temperature rises. It has also raised the question as to when we will plan on having kids. This book is a must for every female. I can't believe I didn't know about some of this stuff!
Rating: Summary: Excellent result gauranteed method... Review: 2 years ago I decided to get pregnant after 6 years of marriage. I had heard from friends how they had to try for months and even years to get pregnant. I did not want that. So I searched and found this book on Amazon.com. I read the 50 odd reviews for this book and bought it. Within 2 months I was pregnant and last year I had a boy. The FAM technique worked perfectly. Thanks a lot Toni!
Rating: Summary: Toni should write a book for teen girls Review: This is the best book on the female reproductive system that I have ever read, and it is the only one that anyone needs to read. Every woman should read this book, whether they want to get pregnant or prevent it. If only we were taught precisely this information when we were teenagers! The author really must write a book for adolescent girls.
