Summary: I have PCOS and found this helpful
Review: I wanted to disagree with the woman with PCOS who said this is not for women with infertility. I have PCOS and charted my temperatures faithfully from the time I went off the pill until I got pregnant 16 months later. I began charting before finding out I had PCOS, and the charts actually helped me convince my physician to test me for the disorder since I could prove I was not ovulating on my own or on a regular basis. The charts helped me see when my medication was working and I started ovulating on my own. And, finally, the charting has helped determine my due date now that I am pregnant because I ovulated so late (day 38 of my cycle as opposed to day 14). I also knew I was pregnant 14 days after I ovulated because I knew I was due for a period and my temps remained high. So, I found this book helpful for dealing with my infertility. The only thing that really didn't work for me was charting to predict ovulation. I definitely recommend this book! It made a tremendous impact on my life!

Summary: A must have for any woman
Review: This is a must have for any woman no matter if she wants to conceive or is interested in natural birth control. I didn't expect that I will learn so much more about my body than I already knew.

Summary: Essential reading for every woman
Review: I disagree with the reviewer who had PCOS and said this book wasn't helpful. I also have PCOS and have found this book to be very helpful over the three years I have now owned it and referred back to it. It was reading this book that helped me discover that I had the disease, and gave me the impteus to approach and convince my doctor after three months of trying to conceive (rather than the usual year) that I was not ovulating and needed fertility assistance. I was able to conceive and bear my son on the first month of fertility drugs. We are now trying for our second child using Metformin, and using the technicques described in this book I am able to time the conception and know for SURE if I have ovulated.

Summary: Extremely Pleased - A "must have" for every woman!
Review: This book is incredibly empowering! I would recommend it to every woman! Beside being completely informative, it offers an indepth look at women's cycles and the vast differences that can occur from one woman to the next. We all are not cut from the same cloth, why should we expect our bodies to function as though they were?

In addition, Toni offers information that you're not likely to get from your OB/GYN, even if you do ask the right questions! I was saddened to read that most of what was written on fertility and trying to conceive is not necessarily something that OB/GYN textbooks even include. I found myself wondering if OB's and Fertility Specialists read this book, and if not, should it be required reading?

It's not all text either, the chart examples and the explanations that accompany them are everywhere! Almost any scenario you can imagine lies somewhere as a sample chart in her book, which makes flipping through the pages to find what you're looking for very easy as well. In fact, it was difficult to read the whole book from cover to cover, I read the first two chapters then skipped ahead, then turned back and eventually read the entire book probably a couple times over!

Summary: I Wish I'd Known!
Review: I wish I'd known all this stuff years ago! This is a great book to let you know what is going on with your body if you are not a perfect 28 day cycle! We used the principles in it to get pregnant with our beautiful daughter! We now plan on using it to keep from having a sibling for her too soon! Gone are the days of the hormone altering pill! The principles are easy to understand but take discipline to use!

Summary: Every women of every age and stage in life should read.
Review: I purchased this book when I was trying to conceive my now 2 yr old son (where does the time go???). My husband and I had been trying unsuccessfully for almost 2 years after an ectopic pregnancy (unplanned). This book gave me more information than any friend, doctor, mother or sex-ed teacher had given me over my entire lifetime. I highly recommend this book to any woman of any age, whether it's pre-mentrual, post-mentrual, child-bearing etc... This book gives step-by-step instructions (in simple terms) of how to acheive or protect against conception, naturally.

Summary: Every woman needs to read this book!
Review: There is a large hole in what women learn about their bodies, and this book elucidates many of the mysteries that shouldn't be. I have gained from it plenty of insight into the meaning of various experiences & processes of my body, and learned that what seems like infection is almost always a normal stage for my body. I hope to be able to share this book with my daughters to teach them about their bodies, to help them understand what is going on hormonally and physically.

I bought this book to help wean myself off of hormonal birth control methods that were wreaking havoc in my body - weight gain & moodiness that have made the first few years of my marriage nearly unbearable. I am now free from any pills or shots, have no fears of becoming unexpectedly pregnant, and I have gained much knowledge about my own body as well!

Summary: A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY WOMEN!
Review: This book has taught me so much about my body. I never knew there was so much to it. I'm still not achieved pregnancy yet, but this book help me figure out when it's most possible. I plan to still use what I learn to prevent pregnancy when that time comes.
