Summary: Excellent Book
Review: This book is very informative on the female body and conception. A must have for every woman! I read the book and began using the charts and we conceived the first month! Even if you aren't trying to get pregnant, the information is something all of us need to read.

Summary: It doesn't get much better than this....
Review: I started looking for alternative forms of birth control after my doctor advised I not take the pill for an extended period of time, due to my breast cancer family history. I have always heard that natural birth control failed more often than not and so I avoided it. Well, after reading this book I now understand that it's the Rhythm Method that fails more often than not. Of course, FAM can fail to if you don't follow the rules.

I am so excited that I found this book. It is so liberating to finally completely understand what is going on with my body each month. The book is so detailed and well written. Concepts are explained very thoroughly and then explained again, and then more of our questions and concerns are answered in the Appendix. I felt like it was as good as taking a class. Every question or circumstance that I might face, is answered. I feel like when I start charting, I will know what to expect. The book is like an encyclopedia, jam packed with information. Every woman will benefit from this book. It doesn't get better than this.

Summary: Recommend to EVERY woman who want to understand her body!

Summary: Pregnancy achieved a 2nd time!
Review: I read this book 2 years ago....got pregnant within 3 months. Re-read specific parts of this 2 months ago and got pregnant again. Those of you who have been told to try and conceive from days 15-23..may be surprised to find out that you actually ovulate on day 13 or day 25. With this book, you can pinpoint your ovulation date. I didn't even bother with the charting or the temperature as they suggested in this book..I just used a calendar and the information in this book on cervical fluid to pinpoint the exact 24 hours I was ovulating. And by the way, I am 39, so don't give up hope.

Summary: This book is great! It helped us to understand when to try.
Review: This book is essential to anyone trying to get pregnant. I recommend reading the book before you start trying to get familiar with tracking etc. We tracked according to the book's methods for 3 months. Afterward, we got pregnant in one cycle. This was after years of hearing from my doctor that I would need fertility drugs and to expect a lot of waiting. In addition, this book is helpful for couples that are experiencing difficulty because it will help you to have information to provide to doctors so that you can speed up the process with fertility treatments by already ruling out certain health problems. For example, the charts will help you to see if you are even ovulating clearly as long as you follow the detailed instructions.

Summary: The Best!
Review: After trying to conceive for several months we had no luck. As soon as I read this book it took us one month! It is the definetely the best book for trying to conceive.

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: I'm not trying to conceive at this time but found this book extremely helpful. Gives a lot more information than I ever expected. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine who was trying to conceive. I discounted her recommendation at first but after looking it over in a bookstore, I had to buy it. I recommend this book for every woman.

Summary: I never knew!
Review: Honestly, I am ashamed that I reached my age (23) and still knew so little about my body. This book is wonderful and SO informative! It was recommended by my sister, and I was skeptical, but it was definitely worth every penny! Though it is (mostly) intended for women seeking natural birth control or help with getting pregnant, I would recommend it to any and every woman!

Summary: So much information I just had to buy it.
Review: After reading this book from my local library, I decided to order it. There is such a wealth of information. I had no idea there were three ways to know when and if you were ovulating. Recently, I decided to go off the pill, which I had been on for about five years. I just don't like taking anything that isn't natural. I am charting my temps and checking the other ovulatory signs and I'm so much happier to be free of the pill. Any woman who wants to know how her body works would love to have all the info this book provides, whether she wants to become pregnant or not.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Must Read for Women
Review: This book is a must read for any woman who is interested in her fertility, whether it is to try to conceive, avoid pregnancy or would like a better understanding of how their body works.

It changed my life and gave me the information I have been seeking.

I credit the knowledge I possess with our success in conceiving a child.
