Summary: No other book has had a stronger impact on me so far
Review: If you read this book at the right time of your thought development, it will change dramatically the way you look at yourself, the way you look at others, the way you live your life, what you think you can do. Many books are deep, this one can transfer its depth onto you in a very effective way.

Summary: A grand waste of time and money.
Review: I really wanted to like this book. I was looking forward to this book. The hype was incredible. But what I was treated to was nothing but repetition, repetition, repetition. Sure, things are how you look at it. But where do we go from here? Do I need 100 pages of the old woman/young woman optical illusion that we have ALL seen in school? I don't think so. Covey's statements of personal faith are not going to be agreeable with all religions, and frankly, were irrelevant to the book. The First Habit, for me, is going to be not wasting my time with books such as this. I was severely disappointed.

Summary: phenomenal and down to earth.........
Review: Thank you Steve Covey..as a result of diligent study of this book my business has expanded 4 fold in only 6 weeks! The bottom line is the character ethic, foundation on principles and human relationships.

I highly recommend this book, especially if you haven't 'looked into a mirror' lately !

Summary: A OUTSTANDING BOOK!
Review: Stephen Covey has written one of the best works ever in personal development and a refreshing change from so much verbage out there in other works. I have been an avid student of personal development since the 70's and learned a lot from this excellent work. I also highly recommend "SUPERSELF" by Charles Givens, another extraordinary work by an equally extraordinary man. I have read & reread Seven Habits and SuperSelf several times over the last few years and always get something new out of each every time. Excellent books to help you succeed in any area of endeavor.

Summary: why americans need the obvious spelled out
Review: Typical american plastic people language stating the absolutely obvious. This book probably is a great explanation why there is no such thing as "American humour". Only americans can identify a scarcity approach to life, too many apes on too small a rock. However, thank God that theyt managed to produce Michael Jordan !!!!

Summary: A springboard to the only true success!
Review: The timeless principles taught changed my character, my relationships, and my life! What else can you ask for from a book?

Summary: A MASTER PIECE IN PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT!
Review: Dr Covey has put together one of the best works ever. The key word in the title is "habits", no thinking about, setting goals to do something, swishing or anchoring yourself, but actually developing habits and actually doing it.

I've read this book several times and I get something new out of it every time. The only other self development book that helped me this much (I've read them all) is "THINK & GROW RICH" by Napolean Hill I also highly recommend "BUSINESS BUY THE BIBLE" and "DON'T SET GOALS" by Wade Cook. These books are very much in the tradition of "SEVEN HABITS".

To me, this book is not only "not over rated" as one reader indicated, I believe that it is grossly under rated and arguably is the best self development book on the book racks right now!

Summary: Time tested principles
Review: It takes a genius to take simple, eternal principles and reinvent them in a way we can all learn and benefit from. Two thumbs up!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This is a hit if you continue to think your own thoughts..
Review: Well, Stephen Covey really gains popularity, but I still wonder why it is so easy to earn money on the obvious? It is a good book, but with a wrong approach from the reader, it may turn out as a religious book or a bible. I guess that's not what Stephen wants, but if you keep your head cool and adopt the goodies from the script, the book may be a shortcut to a successful life in many ways. It is still essential to think by your self, your own thoughts. With a correct approach this book should be a good help for people with minds stuck in dead ends...bearing in mind that no one but yourself can do the necessary work. Read it, judge it, use it, but most important: Improve your life with or without it. Dale Carnegie would perhaps have written this book if he had been alive.

Summary: Profound, Life changing, Deep thinking solutions.
Review: Stephen Covey shares his wisdom of human behavior, identifies 7 fundamental habits that when developed translate into powerful change. Crystalizes the concept of principles, deepens your understanding of words like vision, values and synergy. Removes the blinders to common sense and forces you to deal with the the true causes of your frustrstion. Read it daily, absorb and apply it, grow, grow, grow, grow, grow......evolve.
