Summary: 7 habits or 7 commandments
Review: Here is a book that you can apply in your everyday life and in almost every situation. It's like a manual for dealing with everyday circumstances, to improve your effectives, and to create some positive energy. But in order to follow these methods you need to be well organized, disciplined person. Otherwise, book will have minimal - if any effect on your life. Personally, I like to glide through the book at least couple of times a year. Just to review my recent actions and remind myself of some core values.

Summary: My Favorite for Almost a Decade
Review: I first read this book at 16. In the ensuing 7 years it has become the backbone of my daily life. I read parts of it every week, and each time as I reflect I find new and exciting ideas in it that I can apply moment-by-moment.

As a result, I've learned to trust myself, to dream, and I have the utmost confidence in my ability to achieve big things while staying true to the path of happiness through correct principles.

This book will change your the way you see yourself and the atmosphere around and in you. Get past the title. It makes the book sound like a computer manual. It is, however, a beautiful vision of how the world can be. I buy it for new friends whom I want to see take control of their lives.

Obviously, I highly recommend it. Good luck in your journey.

Summary: How to Turn Yourself Into A Robot
Review: I don't know why so many people think this book is so special. What I saw in it was just ideas that we all know explained in a way so complicated with confusing drawings and schematics that make the book very annoying. Even without this practice of easy concepts into rocket science, the ideas seem unnatural and contrary to the things that make us human. Maybe it is just what some people want so they can translate each activity into a formula or a matrix.

Summary: food for thought... great introspective book
Review: Great book for those who really want to put in the effort to distinguish themselves from the herd. Warning for people looking for quick fixes - this is not all that, if you can't devote the effort and time this is not for you; but I don't mind, quick fixes do unfix themselves promptly. Steve also took his time to explain why not to fall for the 'techniques', I loved it.

The last but one chapter is a bit unclear, author explains what is 'Synergy' but doesn't really give a clear cut way to create it, but I don't blame him for that, it's a tough job like diagnosing solely by checking pulse, you have to get a feel for it yourself, be open to the idea that that all people, even those who sincerely try, may not reach the topmost level of interdependence, but it certainly helps getting in the right direction.

The 'inside out' approach makes absolute sense, this is more than a book. If you try to practice the learnings you can achieve mental peace, or at least can spot what's causing the lack of it.

Summary: Character And Leadership
Review: I will be simple and to the point. As a long-time fan of Stephen Covey, I think his books are at the top of the heap of how-to books on character and leadership. I know they have helped me in my career. And, though I don't have a horse in this race, I have to tell you that I think the best book I have ever read that compliments Stephen Covey's books by presenting the easiest and most understandable explanations of the philosophical basis for all of the ideas in Mr. Covey's books is Norman Thomas Remick's book, "West Point: Character Leadership.....".

Summary: Comments...
Review: I think this is a good book to read. Not everything in this book works for me but I can use some of the things mentioned in this book. I understand ideas in this book may go against some 'traditional' believes or whatever you want to call it. This book doesn't teach you how to be a 'complete' person. If you think this book teaches you how to take advantage of other people or deceive them for your own gain, well, maybe you should read a book with a title "How to think positively" or "How to be a good person in society" as a prerequisite? Is this book perfect for everyone? NO. Does this book work for everyone? NO. If the ideas in this book work for you and makes your life better and makes you happier, who cares where the idea in the book comes from?

Summary: Not a quick fix
Review: I felt that this was a good book if you were a dedicated soul. This is truly not a quick fix. It takes serious self analysis before you even get to the first habit. If you are afraid of what you do not know about yourself, then perhaps this wouldn't be the book for you. However, if you are comfortable with yourself and you know what needs improvement within your life and the way you handle it, then perhaps this is the book for you. I liked it because its relevant in more than one aspect of life. You can use the paradigm in relationship, business transactions, as well as parenting. In order to get the book to work for you, you must walk into with your eyes wide open and understand that change is not always comfortable and will take dedication and patience to overcome.

Summary: Overlong and unoriginal...
Review: Save your money and buy Dale Carnegie's books. They are coincise, easy to read and packed with a huge amount of invaluable information.
