Rating: Summary: disappointing pamphlet Review: a "collection" of one-liners more aptly describes this particular volume. not exactly the wealth of information i hoped to find in a book with such a pompous title. that's not to say there aren't a few interesting tid-bits to be gleaned from the book, for there are... just not enough. bottom line: parsons' slim offering is over-hyped and UNDER delivers. the research for this book is elementary at best. there are a number books on this particular subject that are well worth reading... "facts & phalluses" is not among them. my advice...save your money and check out a few more titles.

Rating: Summary: A great little fact book Review: Ok, sure, maybe some of the entries may be myths, but that's fine. The book does good in covering everything from the weird/strange, to history, and a section devoted to animals. And while it may be short, it's full of interesting little tidbits that will make you and your friends go "Hmmmm...". I know I did, all in all a very interesting read.

Rating: Summary: Smart, funny and informative guide to the Male Member Review: This book contains so many facts, myths and historical details of the Male Member, that you will be fascinated, and also greatly amused. Alexandra Parsons presents the information with some of the smartest remarks I've ever read. She pokes fun at the Kama Sutra, gives us the history of condoms, and tells us the real scientific facts on size, and whether it matters, and how it varies. A veritable cornucopia of amazing phallic facts. And, of course, legends loom large, and are portrayed with tongue firmly in cheek (no pun intended). We are also treated to things we never knew, such as the size and shape of the penis of other members of the animal kingdom. You'd be amazed at what you will learn in this short but informative and entertaining book. And, you'll laugh so hard your sides will ache at some of the smart remarks from the author. I consider this book incredibly entertaining, and quite a feast for the curious, both male and female.
Rating: Summary: Facts and Phalluses Review Review: This is a good book that will make you laugh wonder and learn. Although i thought some of the things that were said in the book were ludicrous I thought overall it was well written and enjoyable. If you are looking for some interesting facts and myths on the penis this is the book for you.
