Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Amusing at best
Review: I was quite embarrassed after finishing the book; not for the sad state of our government, but for the author. He laughs off quite a few very respectable government endeavors simply because he doesn't understand them, and he has a very annoying habit of over-simplifying complex issues. His frequent disregard for the value of pure science will probably anger anyone with a passion for the sciences, particularly biology.

It was pretty obvious that he started running out of good material towards the end of the book; he makes some pretty crazy stretches. I almost felt like it was a tribute to our government that this was the most "muck" this guy could rake up.

The book was slightly amusing at times (which accounts for the rating of two stars), but make sure you take it with a grain of salt.
