MC68HC12 An Introduction: Software and Hardware Interfacing

Review: This book is not for those just starting out in assembly language programming. This was basically my first time programming in assembly and this book was not a big help. It only skimmed the surface giving a general description of all the components of the 68HC12 microcontroller with no concrete examples to help visualize what was going on.

The chapters on interrutps, timers, parallel IO, and serial IO were not very clear and could use some more clear and simple examples to follow.

This book would make an excellent reference for someone who knows what they are doing already as the descriptions of the different components are quick and concise.
