Review: I was lucky to take Mr. Hioki's courses in telecommunications using his textbook at CCSN, in Las Vegas, NV.. His book was a great source understanding the world of electronics applied in telecommunications. Many of the new emerging technologies such as wireless communications, internet, fiber optics, are covered in great detail. He also has a great chapter dedicated to modems. Mr. Hioki manages to bring light without appearing to blind its readers. He abstains of giving the mathematical formulas, although for those savy with numbers won't be dissapointed. His book is gear to junior college student or those with a background in electronics.
