Summary: One of the best available (if not the best)
Review: I've read a lot of books about daytrading. Some of them were very complicated and difficult te read, others were to simple. This book is neither to difficult or to simple. Every important aspect of daytrading is treated. Perhaps not in every detail but enough to understand. YU writes about marketmakers and about finding the ax in an practical way. The pages about technical analysis are perhaps not so extended, but they are very effective. You will surely have success when you use the charts the way YU does. The chapter about order routing is also very effectively written. Finally the rules YU explains to find buy or sell signals are also very simple. Every one can see these signals.
Finally I think that someone can really appreciate this book after having read 20 or 30 other books about daytrading.

Summary: The first and the last book to read before daytrading.

Summary: Pragmatic advise to those who can listen.
Review: If one were to follow the advise in this book, they would be successful. The author leaves nothing to chance and is trying to teach the reader that he too must leave nothing to the whim of the market. The premise on which this excellent book is founded is to react to the market and not forecast it. As Jea Yu points out, it is harder to do than you might expect. The battleground is really the "baggage" that we all bring to the table - our ego's, our budget and most of all our bad judgment. This is a great book and teaches a winning style, if the trader has the discipline to follow it.

Summary: Don't Trade Without Reading this Book
Review: If you are a day trader using a direct access broker, *Memorize this Book*.

That's all I have to say.

Summary: totally worthless
Review: It always amazes me how some people have the ability to write a whole book with nothing to say. If you can make money using the techniques in this book please email me, as far as I'm concerned this book is only meant to promote their services. The second half of the book is surely meant to impress, not to teach. I hate these selling techniques: they even make us pay for their promotional material.

Summary: Tread Carefully
Review: Jay's book is great but I got to tell you that the book alone won't make you a great trader. It does help though. I am a member of his website and I can tell you many many people have lost their pants trading based on his style and system. There is no holy grail. Jay does present a realistic picture of daytrading but its silly to think that a book can make you a great trader. You need to immerse yourself for about 2 years, make mistakes and learn before you can become a good trader. Jay's book is only to get your feet wet and his style is purely on momentum without regards to in depth technical analysis.

Summary: Super book for all daytraders - get this one (DTU).
Review: Jea Yu is an excellent trader, and his book is very helpful for assisting traders in understanding the practical 'mechanics' needed to be successful in daytrading.

The unique contribution that Jae makes in his book is a detailed understanding of scalping and market maker plays, an area in which few resources are available to the public. We highly recommend this book to all our traders at the Daytrading University for helping traders learn more about order routing, sector plays, tick-by-tick scalping and how to day trade correctly.

Along with Tony Oz, Barry Rudd, Nison, Cooper and Turner, Jae Yu has made it into the upper echelon of our "must read" recommended books for all aspiring daytraders. This is thankfully not a newbie fluff book nor does he overtly try to sell his services like many of the other authors do.

Yu has added solid value to the trading community, he is a professional who knows what he's doing, and traders can learn a lot from him. This book is absolutely an essential reference for those who are trying to learn how to daytrade. Get it.

Summary: Interesting Book but a money losing one.
Review: Jea's book has a lot of useful information and is better than many other books out there. But frankly buyer beware. Ask yourself if Jea is so good, why doesn't he trade? Fact is he doesn't trade and have not traded for 3 years. Turnover at his website is very high as folks are losing money. If someone is good at trading, why would they be involved in a website and not trade?? Obviously Jea knows that his "methods" do not make money or at best make marginal money...thats why he is "teaching". The real traders out there, the ones who put their money on the line...those are the ones to learn from. Jea's methods is just academic.....its easy to make calls when its not your money on the line. Bottom line...read the book with a sceptical view.

Summary: A Has-been
Review: Jea's UndergroundTrader.com site is overrated. I don't know anybody who has subscribed to it who ever made any money consistently. The pre March 2000 bull market spawned so many books like this and so many pseudo-gurus. I know someone who got this book, he was all hyped up about it, but lost money using or trying to use the so-called strategies and he had to go back to the real world and get a J-O-B, ouch! If anyone has actually made any money from his site or from his book, by all means post here with specifics. So far none have. If you can't show me the money, don't waste people's time posting here.
