Summary: ? A Question - When will the next edition be available?
Review: PLEASE DO NOT POST AS A REVIEW! Just to be clear, this is not a review.

I was looking for a "link" to ask a question to the authors. I have used this book extensively in one of the classes I teach and the college is about to re-order for upcoming courses.

I am reconsidering the choice because the internet advertising environment has changed significantly in 1 year and 3 months.

When will 3rd edition be available? Please advise: thank you very much.

Review: The authors do a good job in giving an overview of Internet advertising. The book can serve as a good reference for those who want to understand the basics of how the industry operates.

Summary: Packed with knowledge, up to date. An essential guide.
Review: This book from start to finish explains clearly what the web is about for an advertisers point of view. It tells you everything about banner ads you never knew before, and explains what is beyond the banner. I have read many books on this subject, and I must say this has not left anything out. If you are going to advertise on the web you will be foolish not to look at this first.

Summary: Great introductory book
Review: This book gives a complete overview of possibilities for online advertising. Although lots of the information sounds very familiar, it's nice to have one book that says it all. I especially liked the extensive use of statistics and other research results of external parties. Naturally the sources of this information is specified each time, which gives you a nice idea where to get more information. The extensive Resource Directory (about 60 pages) is also very useful in telling you were to find more information, both online and offline.

The book also convinced me that it's nearly impossible to build a profitable online presence by advertising income alone. Numerous examples and figures show that you need extremely high traffic, before the advertising revenue is sufficient to cover the high costs of running a content-driven website.

Review: This book will guide you to learn basic concept relating to advertising on the internet. And it was very useful for me to understand the internet ad.

Summary: Decent intro, but too much filler.
Review: This is a decent introductory book, but feels like a double-spaced term paper trying to hit a page count.

It covers every aspect and seems as good a place to start as any. Don't try to read it through - use it as a reference book, and skip around to what you need.

It is filled with screen shots (that are always on the next page) and one of those 50-page appendix lists that should be online.

Review: Though a little dated now, this book is terrific if you want to learn all about the fundamentals of internet advertising. It's one of the first books of its kind, and is still probably the best. Great reading and reference.

Summary: The Be-All Reference for Advertizing on the Internet.
Review: What I really liked about it was the indepth description of what the different methods for advertising there were. In addition it gave some excellent ideas for managing banners and so on.

It is the best book ever on Web Advertising.

Review: When it comes to internet marketing, this book is a must-have. Whether you're launching your own small site or a corporate site, this book will go into great detail about what you can do for advertising. This book is my master reference book in marketing strategy.
