Rating: Summary: Great book Review: Being heavily involved in email marketing I can tell you personally the information in this book DEFINITELY WORKS. Best book ever written on the subject of online marketing. No doubt about it.
Rating: Summary: This book is truly a trove Review: This book is truly a trove of valuable insight into how one can incorporate identifiable universal principles of motivation into practical results. Definately NOT the same old stuff. If you are a couch potato or have given up, you do not need this book.
Rating: Summary: Superb!! This book will blow your mind wide open. Review: I couldnt stop reading this book. The illustrations in the book are humourous and straight to the point. Mark Joyner doesnt dawdle around about what he is 'making' you understand about marketing psychology and how it can gain you success. This book is a definate MUST for anyone in internet marketing.
Rating: Summary: Not so good.. Review: The book is well written, well designed.. But if you are looking for some real results (and not just "pretty theory"), I suggest you go elsewhere.. It will not give you the technical knowledge nor anything else you really need to achieve success on the internet (believe me, the "talk is good", but it doesn't fill your pockets :-). However, if you want to spend some money to read a "funny" literature, then I suggest you buy this book :-)
Rating: Summary: This book is my new writing bible! Review: When I went to school at Pepperdine to study creative writing, I never learned the *true* art of copywriting. Mark has shown me how to turn words into money -- both online and off -- like no one else has. Each and every one of the ideas in this book could make you millions ...
Rating: Summary: Far better than money in the bank! Review: If your bank account was filled with money or your head was filled with the wisdom in this book, you'd end up far wealthier with the information that Mark Joyner so masterfully provides in this delightful book. Take all the marketing courses you want. Read the books. Listen to the tapes. Buy the tee-shirts. Still, you won't come close to learning the really crucial insights that are presented in "MindControlMarketing.com." Mark Joyner not only talks the talk, but also walks the walk, as attested to by his list of glowing Internet accomplishments. The only amazing thing is that he'd share his enlightenment with the world. Consider yourself lucky to have a chance to read this work of pure genius. As the author of the "Guerrilla Marketing" series of books, I've written a lot and read a lot. But this book goes to the very top of my list.
Rating: Summary: Worth all the Hype Review: When I first flipped through it I sort of rolled my eyes. The cartoon illustrations made me think that it wouldn't be very serious (despite all the rave reviews on the cover). But when I started reading it, it took me about two chapters to understand why people are so fascinated with this book. It's hillarious, profound, and extremely important. This should be on just about everyone's top ten list. It's sort of a handbook to the brain (it's about far more than marketing or the Internet).
Rating: Summary: One of the few books I plan to reread regularly! Review: I am involved in both marketing on the Internet and teaching others how to do so successfully, and this book now has a large place in my arsenal. MindControlMarketing not only clearly pointed out the way people think and what motivates them to buy, but it guided my own mind to look at my efforts from a new perspective which I know will greatly increase my earnings. The only bad thing about Mark Joyner's writing is that I'm not the only one who gets to read it. I would have such an upper hand over my competition!
Rating: Summary: Will Blow Your Mind - And Make the Cash Register Ring! Review: This book is in a class of its own. Unlike the hundreds of "Internet Marketing" Books now available that tell you how, this book answers the WHY! Why do folks buy one product over another similar one? Why do they throw away 99% of the e-mail they receive? Why isn't my website connecting with my customers? The first half of this book is a crash course in human psychology. More specifically human BUYING psychology. The second half of this book puts marketing into a warfare metaphor. Mark effectively uses examples from the Roman Empire to the Gulf War to show how to keep yourself ahead of the competition by using ancient wisdom and strategies. It is full of totally bizarre and disturbing cartoons, which effectively cement the concepts into your brain. Nice touch. I sure wish I had this book years ago (or even months ago). It is one heck of a valuable document, worth at least ten times the price. All in all a very revealing peek inside one of the greatest minds in internet marketing, full of instantly useable money making info.
