Rating: Summary: ISP Marketing Strategies To Drive Your Sales Straight Up! Review: If you're looking to significantly grow your dialup and Internet access subscriber base, reduce churn, build a sales force that actually works, or just techniques to increase your profitability or market valuation, this book is for you. I wrote this book after years of being an ISP myself, reading tens of thousands of email discussion list posts from sites such as the ISP-Lists.com network, interviewing and working with hundreds of ISPs on their success and failure stories, and literally flying around the world speaking at ISP trade shows and conferences. If you like long novels on theory, this is not it. If you like short, punchy, jam packed ISP sales, marketing, advertising, PR and business building ideas, this book has got it, even if you're not a marketing type. Whether you are a ISP owner, executive, technician, ISP wannabe or even a vendor in the ISP space wanting to better understand the ISP industry; anyone who has to plan, implement, support, or drive the success of an ISP enterprise will benefit from it. You can open the book up to almost any page, read a couple of paragraphs, and begin immediately implementing the action plans into your business. Because the ISP marketplace competition is so high, now more than every, you must stake your claim, use the innovative marketing & sales strategies in this book to out maneuver your competition, and differentiate yourself from everyone else. This book shows you how to specifically do that with case studies and bullet point examples. Beyond basic marketing strategies, I also cover ISP business issues such as service strategies, subscriber growth techniques, acquisition, and selling, how to reach and find your target customer, proven ways to build a powerful ISP sales force, how to increase your customer conversion rate, ISP Competitor Analysis 101: How to track your competitor and their customers, and Attracting, retaining, and training the best ISP customer service staff. Lastly, there is a free ISP business plan sample in the back of the book that you are welcome to use as a model for your ISP, written by Jason Zigmont of HowToSell.net. This is the only book of its kind on the market, every ISP manager, executive, or entrepreneur will want it on his or her bookshelf, and I hope you enjoy it. To Your ISP Success! Christopher Knight

Rating: Summary: A lot of obvious bla bla Review: Very American. Is there a world beyond their borders? Doesn't mention Data Centers, doesn't talk about market trends such ASPs. What about market data? Is the American market really so simple? (Smile, be nice to customers and then sell to a bigger company)
