Rating: Summary: paper wasted sip book Review: Author is really good but the way SIP described in the book is a kind of child-story , details on important parts of SIP and on unified services are skipped instead make-up parts are highlighted.
Rating: Summary: Skip the first half Review: I found this book covered too many points on the spectrum. The first half goes over everything BUT SIP. Most people who want to learn the generic SIP structure already know how a simple telephone and data network operates. This takes a little too long to get the the "meat" but from there on gives a pretty good detail of the SIP format for anyone looking at understanding the basic SIP code format. As a fundamentals book for anyone wanting to start learning SIP programming it would be a good reference to have on the shelf. Skip the first half though.

Rating: Summary: Helpful Review: I thought this book was very helpful to understand the basic concepts of SIP.
Rating: Summary: My best book to understand SIP Review: SIP Demystified covers not only SIP protocol itself but also why SIP is so good in Internet world. That would help us to understand SIP so much. Especially, this book is recommended to, like me, those who are moving from switched voice into a data networking environment as editorial reviewer says. I hope that SIP Demystified will be translated into Japanese soon for my colleagues or friends.
Rating: Summary: SIP FULLY UNVEALED Review: SIP DEMYSTIFIED SEEMS TO BE A MOST INTERESTING CONTRIBUTION TO HELP US UNDERSTAND WHY THE UMTS 3RD GENERATION WILL BE UP TO OFFER NEW SERVICES. IN THIS BOOK, SIP IS FULLY UNVEALED. THE AUTHOR, MR CAMARILLO, PUTS IT IN ITS OWN CONTEXT AND BRINGS IN ALL SUPPORTING PROTOCOLS FOR A BETTER COMPREHENSION.
Rating: Summary: The best SIP book for beginners Review: This is the best book for who wants to know about SIP initially, especially on what SIP can do conceptually. This book is feasible for everyone that includes executives, managers and engineers. This book also provides very good related information in the Internet Forum.
