Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Compulsory reading for Oracle Fins clients Review: This book is has just the right mix of Application, Accounting , Business, Organizational and Technical information to make it extremely useful. For new and existing Oracle clients who have been on the training course and are wondering what next, this book and it's great contents definitely point the way to how everything fits together. There are important practical pointers as to what NOT to do and how your data flows will be. Anyone who has worked with the Apps product knows that getting to grips with all the parameters, specific Oracle Terminology and setup issues is half the battle. I have been in several countries across the globe and spoken to numerous users who have read this book who all find it has made the Oracle Fins picture a much more complete one for them. One user commented that this book would be excellent as a university course text book to explain how Accounting Systems work. A job well done by the authors to make the large and complex world of Oracle Fins look so simple in an easy to read and comprehensive book.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A Good Book for Beginners. Review: This is a good book for beginners who wants to grasp the basics of Oracle Financials. It would have been better if areas like Multi-org and EDI were discussed in more details. Discussion on Procurement Cards could have been strengthened.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Excellent book especially for beginners Review: This is an excellent book for everybody especially for beginners. I specially like the chapter on customizations. I recommend this book to everyone who is thinking of implementing Oracle Financials to have a copy on his/her desk as a bible. I do not think you will see another title in this field in the next 10 years. Congratulations to all who have put in lots of hours to bring this book to us.

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: This is the only book globally available on OracleFinancials Review: Though this is the only book globally available on Oracle Financials, sample screens therein are only four, in spite of the large number of accounts and logistic or flexfields therein. In the absence of the same, this book on Oracle Financials will be viewed only as an addition to those already dealing with Financial Management in general.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: It's not a handbook, just an brief overview Review: We should appreciate that this is the first book published on market talking about Oracle Financials. However, this is the book that contains only general introduction. It doesn't have any detail information either for functional users or technical persons. As an Oracle Financial developer with many years of experience, I don't get any useful information out of it. May be it's good for somebody who don't know Oracle Financials at all.
