Summary: robert allen reveals crucial home truths in this book.
Review: robert allen, in addition to writing clearly and very honestly, tells the god's honest truth about earning money online. he makes the process sound very reasonable, very attainable, and quite difficult. if you're wearing rags today, you won't be rolling in riches tomorrow. but if you take the time to do exactly what robert says, there is no way you will do anything but make a whole lot of money -- now and for the rest of your life. This book proves that online wealth is definitely possible and unquestionably difficult. if you have the patience in your head and the hunger in your tummy, this book will be a feast for you.

Summary: If you want to make money, this is the place to start....
Review: If you want a "nerd-inspired", tech-oriented "how to make money on the Internet", don't buy this book.

This is a book written for entrepreneurs who want to take advantage of what the Internet offers in terms of reduced marketing costs, broader reach, inexpensive frequency of message dissemination, and the cumulative impact of marketing and advertising on the web. In other words, practical solutions to making money on the net.

I have read more than two dozen "how-to-market-on-the-Internet" books. They seem to fall into one of two categories: (1)Basics 101, written for a plumber or a grandma who just learned how to turn her computer on; and (2)books written by those 'baseball-hat-turned-backward' types who will 'html'-you or 'browser' befuddle you to death with arcane terminology, or whack you upside your head with a bag of zeros and ones.

Bob Allen's book is right in the middle. It's not a basic primer on the Internet. Nor is it a techhie wonderland that assumes you have at least a Masters in computer science. This is a book for people who already know something about how to operate on the Internet, but have not yet been exposed to all the pros and cons of the various methodologies present today. There are still lots of pundits out there who try to sell you banner ads, classifieds or other ... you just don't need, because they just don't work. Bob has done a great job of demystifying some of these sacred web cows, and in detail, explains just how to make things work. His main concern is to demonstrate how,if carefully thought out and planned, almost anyone can make a lot of money on the Internet.

I've been on the net for over three years, far too many hours per week to admit to. I though I knew most everything there was to know about marketing on the web. I walked into a book signing and thought I'd at least give him a listen. I picked up a copy of the book, and quickly flipped through it. Then, as I listened, some of the ideas Bob was sharing with his audience struck a responsive chord with me and helped me see how to solve a major marketing problem I had been wresting with for weeks. Bingo, the answer dropped into place. Other things he stressed, simply verified my own thinking. Needless to say, I walked out of there with a copy under my arm.

If you want to understand HOW to do it, and you want to learn what NOT to do before you waste money, this is an excellent book for you.

Summary: a complete disapointment
Review: there is nothing new in this book that is already out there for free. most of the advice is plain common sense. the book is full of vague and impractical ideas. shold you need a book to guide you on your pursuit for online profits, this is definitely not the one.

Summary: Run from this. "Get E-Business To Go" or "Max E-Marketing"
Review: What a waste of trees. If you are looking for an insightful, professional approach to doing business on the Internet, this book IS NOT it. What a throwback to the 20th century. Haven't we all had enough of those slimy, "no money down" infomercials, and the MLM "opportunities" that makes us all somebody's friend as long as we by their health drink or makeup?

This author has no credibility in this area. This book is the antithesis of what E-Business is all about today for anyone interested in succeeding on the Internet...or making money. And there are so many better ones! Run from here to "E-Business To Go" by G. Thompson, or "Max e-Marketing" by Rapp - you'll find exactly what you're looking for, and get 1000% more practical information in the first ten pages of either, than this thinly veiled ponzi publication gives you in its entirety!

Save yourself time, money and aggravation. Leave this one for the pyramid schemers. The only "multiple streams of income" this book will generate is into this guy's pocket.

Summary: A Decent Book That could Be a lot Better
Review: The claim of "How to Make 24,000 dollars in 24 hours" was solely created to get people to buy his book. What he *doesn't* say is that it took him about 9 months to build a subscriber base to his newsletter which then allowed him to send out a FINAL email with several offers; only THEN did he make over 90,000 dollars in a 24 hours a period, even after chargebacks. Any Marketing Guru worth his salt knows that it takes time to build a brand, reputation, and sound Marketing principles. This book is a good read and does provide SOME useful information, however, it seemed to have been written in a hurry, not to make a quick buck but to get the book out quickly internet. Bottomline: If you have the time to scour the net, you can find all this information and so much more and do not need to buy this book; look up Corey Rudl, Mike Enlow, Jay Abraham, Terry Dean, etc. My advice to Robert Allen: continue to help make millionaires out of ordinary people, however you NEED to be more up front about your methods. The 24K in 24 hours was misleading. Building any solid business takes time.

Summary: Consider the source...
Review: A previous reviewer states: "His implied claims that anyone can use his methods to duplicate his feat of making $90,000 in 24 hours is very misleading. He may be able to pull this off since he is a well-known author with connections to other well-known people from whom he can draw testimonials and credibility. But for the average reader, this is not an option."

I am writing to let everyone know that this is the same carnival act he used so successfully for years in his Real Estate Seminars: He claimed he could fly into any city in the US and in 24 hours purchase a property for NO MONEY DOWN... Then proceeded to collect untold thousands of dollars form unsuspecting atendees... His carnival act has now aparantly moved on to the internet.

This book was given to me as a gift in good faith ( after all it is a new best seller...) After a quick read - I put it up for auction in order to get some money back from Mr. Allen for a change... There was really nothing new... It seems very poorly researched - It's a shame that he didn't spend a little more time on the content and less on the hype...

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Look at the Source
Review: People who have attended the seminars with a closed mind and have accomplished little? Or people who have attended his seminars and/or read his books and have accomplished a lot. I give this book a 3 stars because it leaves out a lot of information. I have started 3 dot-coms, my 3rd one finally being successful. I would still highly recommend this book to anyone because he provides some very useful URLs and it saves you a lot of time of having to search the net for hours or days to find the free information. Mr. Allen is a multi-millionaire many times over, he only does the seminars to help people, not to make money. Anyone else who says otherwise just doesn't know the man. There are doers and there are naysayers, which one are you? I still recommend this book because there are concepts you can use immediately.

Summary: Save your money
Review: I was originally excited about buying this book. After reading it, I realized it is just a hastily researched effort by Robert Allen. He simply compiles several commonly known marketing concepts together and asks some other authors to add a few pages of their own ideas (which they are also trying to sell) and sells the resulting book to the masses for a quick buck. His implied claims that anyone can use his methods to duplicate his feat of making $90,000 in 24 hours is very misleading. He may be able to pull this off since he is a well-known author with connections to other well-known people from whom he can draw testimonials and credibility. But for the average reader, this is not an option.

His methods may or may not be sound, but there isn't enough information for the average reader to execute his suggestions. One would have to purchase more of his information products to use his methods in earnest.

Some earlier reviews gave this book five stars. Please read these reviews with some skepticism, since some of them are full of hype and sounds like they are trying to sell more copies of this book.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not exactly.
Review: I?m always looking for new ideas - but this highly touted book was in reality a very disapointing read. Nothing new here. Very basic stuff - not for anyone who is already on the internet because frankly almost all of the info in this book is already available from many sources - for free. This book is by the same guy who made so much money selling books about how to buy R.E. for no money down - then left to go into network marketing of all things. Ancient Chinese Proverb says: Caveat Emptor!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Multiple Streams of Internet Income
Review: Robert Allen is brilliant in his latest work! Get it and use it! Every single day. And night. And all through the next... The beauty of his work is that you and I can profit right away from his experience. He lives what he teaches. Free yourself from the grind and have more time to spend with the ones you love doing what you love to do.
