Summary: Insightful
Review: I have used this book as a reference tool since it has been released and have leafed many pages. I have attended many sap training classes and while in the classes I feel that I have a firm grasp on the specific topic, applying the skills down the road, I have attempted to use the training materials you are sent home with, but have found in most areas that the training materials concern themselves with isolated areas and are far too technical. This book has proven to be a readable yet insightful text. Additionally, chapters are referred to each other in the same manner that modules within FI/CO interact. I recommend this book to anyone configuring SAP.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It is good, very good book..
Review: I wished to read this book before, but there'snt. It give more about Configuration of Fi and CO.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Reference, what ever be the SAP version you use
Review: Most of the books available are just describing the functionalities of FICO instead of giving you the REAL nitty-gritty involved in configuring a particular option. Some say that the book is out-dated with screen shots from 3.x. Fine, but do you have any other book in the market which gives you the essential basics from configuration point? And, I am sure the basics have not changed, much, inspite of latest releases.

This book proves to be a winner for every one - the FICO beginner-consultant, experienced consultants, cross-functional consultants, users etc

Till such time some one comes up with another book, with latest versions' screen-shots and with asset accounting/product costing put together in the same volume, this is the ONLY book any one can refer to in FICO configuration.

Summary: The best book to read on FICO module!!!!
Review: There isn't very many FICO books out there that explains CO configuration. This book explains everything and the step-by-step configuration in CO. The authors did a good job in explaining the FICO module. Anybody who is new at configuring FICO should buy this book and would surely feel that they are well-equipped at handling their job. Looking forward to the updated version of this book!!!!!!

Summary: Great if you don't want to know about Fixed Assets
Review: This book covers all FI/CO modules thoroughly except Fixed Assets which is not covered at all. The authors of the book themselves considered it "beyond the scope of this book" so if you need FA configuration details you will have to look elsewhere.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent FI/CO Referrence Book
Review: This book really tells you how to configure the FI/CO of SAP--no SAP book on FI/CO or any functional module for that matter comes close to detail the steps on how to go about implementing the modules.

Buying this book will enhance your configuration skills--guaranteed! For beginners, this book will hasten your understanding of the concepts and techniques used by the experts. For experienced configurators, this serves as excellent referrence material.

For consultants who are into the training business, this book serve as an excellent instructor's guide. For those hoping to become an FI/CO consultant, this book will help you get to your goal.

Buy this. Worth it.

Summary: Must read for all FI/CO consultants!
Review: This is a book that will contain some meat even for consultants that are already many years active in SAP FI/CO related consulting. I personally appreciated chapter 6 that explains Treasury related functionality like Lockbox Processing, Cash management and Bank Statement Processing.

Summary: A very good book but lacks Product Costing and Fixed Assets.
Review: This is in overall a very good book about the configuration of FI/CO Modules, it covers basic submodules but it fails to cover fixed assets and product costing (Which are very important submodules).

I find it very useful that the authors included Investment Management, I haven't had experience implementing such functionality, but after reading the book and with the experience I've had in SAP FI, I believe I'm ready to implement it on my next project.

A little bit expensive though.

Summary: Obsolete!! This book is for a very old system, release 3.
Review: What version of SAP are all theses people using? Most production systems are using 4.6c or higher. This book is for 3.0. Almost all the screens and menu paths have changed. This was a good book in it's day. But that day has long past. This book must be updated to version 6.20. Can someone suggest a current FI/CO book?
