Summary: Many good ideas but ..................
Review: I am a daily listener to Mr. Hannity and I truly enjoyed this book. Even as a long time listener to Mr. Hannity, I learned much from this book. Some of the commentary at Amazon seems to be written by people who simply object to the provocative nature of the title and haven't read anything beyond the cover.

I do think the title of this book is unfortunate. It probably helps sell the book, but it is more stident than necessary.

Summary: A MUST READ
Review: This is an excellent book. A must have in everyones home library.

Sean's second book brings indisputable proof that we must destroy Evil by defeating terrorism, despotism, and liberalism.

Sean writes and discusses not only what's going on right now, but the history that led up to our current situation in world politics.

As Americans, we face an ongoing war against terrorists and their state sponsors around the world, Sean reminds us that we must also cope with the continuing scourge of accommodation and weakness at home. We must recognize the dangers of Evil and must have the leaders to have the courage during these times for decisive action.

I loved his first book as well as his second, and would recommend it to anyone, liberal or conservative.

Summary: What's at Steak?
Review: I am a Director of Sales and Marketing at a Philly-based financial services organization. I am also a liberal. As such - and as someone who loves his country, I take *great* offense to being lumped in with despots and terrorists and labeled as "evil" on the cover of this discredited blowhard's latest piece of trash he calls a book.

So, tellya what I did. I asked my staff of six sales professionials if they would voluntarily refrain from taking clients to a certain high-end steak house chain for business dining as a favor to me, their wonderful liberal boss. They all agreed - no problem, because if there's one thing this town has it's plenty of expensive restaurants. Why did I request this? It makes me ill that I'm spending some pretty big T&E dollars out of my budget at this place, and a portion of it goes to this hate monger, Hannity, in the form of a paid testimonial.

In the last 18 months my sales organization has spent close to $6000 at this steak house ($5,736.96 to be exact) including tips. Seems like a lot but it really isn't given that our parties usually have 4 to 6 clients and someone from my staff takes his or her clients there about once or twice every month.

Am I advocating a boycott? Nah. I'm not even mentioning the name of the place, though I'm debating shooting their corporate office a letter. I'm just suggesting that advertising with an infotainer who has a track record of spewing hate, and who has offended about 1/2 the population with the obscene title of his book might not be such a good idea. Liberals (and the minority groups Hannity has made a career out of bashing...) spend money too. Hmmm...never been to Marimoto's. Anyone for Japanese?

Summary: Garbled History
Review: Hannity's simple syllogism is: appeasement was wrong for Hitler and it is wrong for terrorists and despots. We must defeat liberals at home if we are to defeat terrorists and despots abroad. But there are certain bits of information missing from Hannity's book. For instance, he compares the policies of Chamberlain and Churchill with respect to appeasing Hitler, but does not discuss the contribution of the great liberal Franklin Roosevelt who lead us through that war and wanted to get involved in the war against Hitler even before Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. Roosevelt could not get involved in the war against Hitler, however, because of overwhelming conservative opposition. If not for Pearl Harbor, we never would have confronted Hitler, thanks to conservatives.

Hannity also puts in some unflattering comments and information about Joe Kennedy, Sr. as if to make a point about Kennedy liberals. One problem. Joe Kennedy Sr. was a conservative bigot who hated FDR. Hannity is relying on his readers' ignorance of history, hoping to score a point. If his readers hear "Kennedy" and think "liberal" then he's made a point. Sorry, Sean, this reader any anyone familiar with history knows better.

As for his argument that it was wrong to appease Saddam Hussein, he must be referring to the Reagan administration, who not only appeased Hussein but built him up and sold him weapons for eight consecutive years, even after his use of chemical weapons and other atrocities. Neville Chamberlain might have been an appeaser, Sean, but he never sold weapons and gave money to Hitler the way Reagan did with Hussein (and Bin Laden, but that's another matter).

In sum, what does it say about someone who writes a book knowing that its arguments depend on its readers being totally ignorant of history? Hannity demonstrates his contempt for his readers by doing this, and no one should allow themselves to be fooled in this way.

Summary: Awful
Review: The book caught my attention because of the inflamatory title, which I suppose it was intended to do. I wouldn't dare buy such garbage but a conservative friend of mine let me borrow it.

The very premise that it is possible to prove that "absolute evil" exists and is present in our encounters with terrorism, despotism, and liberalism, is absolutley ludicrous. It's shortsighted and extremely slanted towards right-wing, christian morals. The opinion that the right is somehow morally superior to all else is suspect in itself.

Conservatives like Hannity are all show and no go. They will use images (like the cover of the book) and declarations on their own behalf to claim patriotism and moralism just to make another buck. He and people like him get rich by selling lies to the public. They will tell you how to live and what is right...but it just doesn't apply to them.

Summary: If you want a book that distorts every fact, go for this one
Review: Hannity and Colmes is a joke of a show. Hannity just blabbers on and distorts or uses made up facts created by the Right. Why wouold anyone ever trust anything he says? This book is just constant name calling, something for people with weak minds to read.

Summary: Sean Hannity for President in 2008!!!!

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: I loved this book! So here's my reply to you:

Then again, I am a hard-working, honest American who is tired of hearing that we're "phobic" when we're really just polite, unlike you libs.

Sean addresses today's "real issues"...1) Clinton decimated our military and intelligence community and left this country in its most vulnerable state in modern history. 2) When I needed health care, I went out and got a job. 3) I'm a self-proclaimed conservative who raised and loved two babies conceived DESPITE the 98% accurate Planned Parenthood birth control. I could have aborted them, but instead took food stamps only as long as I needed in order to get a degree until I could be self-supporting and pay my own way.

60K a year is more than I make, but I'm still conservative. Notice I didn't make assumptions about you like you made about me. Try being as non-judgemental as we conservatives.
