Summary: Most thought provoking book of our time
Review: This book was so thought provoking I could not put it down. Sean Hannity's book provides historical perspective then uses logic and fact to make its point. This book is a rare gem. Unbelievable!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This should be required reading for every student
Review: It is simply amazing the information Sean Hannity provides in this book. Many people who are fans of Hannity and Colmes or The Sean Hannity Radio Program will buy this book, but for those of us who don't know Sean Hannity very well, this was an AWESOME READ!!!

Buy the book. Read it. Re-read it. All I can say is Wow! What an experience!!!

Summary: Crucial Reading--
Review: My concern is that Americans so consisitenly bend over backwards to be non-judgemental (raised as they have been to be policically correct in all matters) that sometimes they never take a stand in crucial matters. They end up valuing the appearance of open-mindedness over common sense. Sean Hannity cuts through the fog and delivers with clarity the issues that should concern us and tells us how to overcome the Orwellian left-think that is crippling the will of America.

Summary: The most honest writer to come along in YEARS
Review: Sean Hannity tells it like it is. He blows the false face off of the appeasers of this world and shows how they try to politicize everything to make it fit their agenda. The liberal Democratic Party has become more like a spoiled brat child than a political party. The heads of the party lie, cheat, manufacture half truths, go back on their words, change their minds on a daily basis, and do everything but fall down kicking and screaming on the floor. Hannity finally tells it like it really is. WAKE UP LEFT LEANING AMERICA! Nothing wrong with leaning left, but for heaven's sake, be honest about it and proud enough of your convictions to stand behind them. Your leaders DON'T and that is proven in each chapter of this great book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: truth
Review: This book has everything you need to know to realize apeasement doesn't work and that we must look back at history and not make the same mistakes. Thank you Sean for being such an honest guy!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must read for all Americans
Review: This book is a must read. This book will open the eyes of closed-minded Americans who believe the Democrats should be in office. If you are left of center, read the ENTIRE book with an objective point of view. You will not regret it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A must have book for all Conservatives.
Review: The book is very easy to read and full of facts. The organization is fairly well done, but it could have been a little better, although I do enjoy the way the book is broken up into small parts, it makes it easy to just pick up and read one part at a time. Any conservative, or Republican will easily enjoy the way Sean shows the flaws with liberalism through a plethora of facts. Liberals probably won't enjoy the book because it is a personal attack on them, but if you're anybody but a liberal, you'll enjoy the book.

Summary: Conservative Backlash to Hannity, Limbaugh, Coulter, etc:
Review: A conservative's review of Al Franken's 'Lies and the Lying Liars' 10/17/03 Becky Miller from The Oregonian

I must say that only once before in my life have I ever felt as utterly shocked as I am at this moment. The time before was when I first realized that my boss at the time, Bill Sizemore, was greedy and dishonest. The foundations of my universe shook. What has utterly shocked me today is Al Franken's latest book, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right."

I read the book in one sitting. It is an amazing book, and -- if you're a decent, honest, hard-working, patriotic, true-blue conservative who listens to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly and watches Fox News -- an earth-shattering book.

To be aboveboard, I must tell you that Franken and I are friends. Well, OK, the truth is I made a wisecrack to him at a book signing, and he looked at me. (Read the book -- the part about Ann Coulter -- and you'll get it.)

Until I read this book, I believed the Bill Sizemore/Oregon Taxpayers United mess was a bit of a fluke. (In 2002 I testified against him in a civil trial in which a Multnomah County jury found that his charitable foundation and political action committee had committed fraud and forgery, and that Oregon Taxpayers United had engaged in a pattern of racketeering to obtain signatures on initiative petitions for tax measures drafted by Sizemore.) The spin, the lies, the greed, the disregard for the everyday person -- I thought it was all just a fluke and really limited to this one little pustule of filth that had festered in a little storefront in Clackamas, Oregon. Boy, was I wrong.

I believe Franken is telling the truth in his book because it meshes perfectly with what I personally have observed. And I think every decent, honest, hard-working, patriotic, true-blue conservative owes it to himself to read it. Hold your nose if you must -- Franken is as foul-mouthed and crass as his reputation would lead you to believe (and quite mistakenly believes Christians love Israel because it is the center of prophecies that include the fiery deaths of all Jews) -- but read it anyway.

The other day on talk radio, I heard a guy tell an incredulous Lars Larson that he wouldn't believe Rush Limbaugh was a drug addict involved in a drug ring even if Limbaugh himself admitted it. If you're that guy, don't bother reading Franken's book. You will really just drive yourself even more crazy.

The leaders we conservatives have trusted have taken advantage of our trust to line the pockets of the wealthy and powerful, and it's time we rose up and drove out these greedy liars. They've hijacked and distorted our belief system for their own gain, and in doing so are destroying our credibility.

And if we decent, honest, hard-working, patriotic, true-blue conservatives of this country neglect the duty we have to our children and grandchildren, we will never be able to work with those decent, honest, hard-working, patriotic, true-blue liberal Americans that these lying creeps have taught us to despise. We will never be safe to debate them or, when warranted, to listen to them and maybe even agree with them. We will never be safe to work out our differences or to work together. And we will never be able to build on the all-American sense of unity that burst forth following 9/11, only to disappear shortly thereafter in a cloud of lying, greedy partisan politics.

I'm still a decent, honest, hard-working, patriotic, true-blue conservative. But Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity and the rest of you lying liars -- I'm through with you! (Read the book, and you'll get that one, too.)

Becky Miller of Woodburn is former senior aide to Bill Sizemore, president of Oregon Taxpayers United.

Summary: Whaaanitty gives Republicans a bad name.
Review: I've been a Conservative and Republican my whole life and Hannity doesn't speak for me. He's such an extremist that he gives normal Republicans a bad name. This book is just the same old song he continues to re-hash on his TV and radio show, filled with his extremist and tunnel-vision views. I'm sick of his attitude that anybody that doesn't agree with him is a liberal and, thus, is evil.

Hannity has fallen into the same "Celebrity Syndrome" that he accuses the Hollywood Elite of having. He hears his groupies tell him every day how great he is and he actually believes it. This guy is so in love with himself it makes me sick to my stomach. He doesn't know the difference between what is his opinion and what is fact.

Again, I'm a conservative and I've voted Republican all my life. But, because I think Mr. Wet Pannity is a bozo and his book is garbage, does that make me an evil liberal?

Come on, Sean. Answer me, Yes or No. Come on. Yes or No. I asked you a simple question. ANSWER ME YES OR NO!

Summary: RE: Spain
Review: In response to "A reader from Havertown, PA United States" who states "He (GW Bush) has poured hundreds of billions of dollars and nearly 600 American lives into the endeavor, in no small part because of now-debunked claims that Iraq and al Qaeda enjoyed an operational alliance" and then goes on to claim that al Qaeda bombed Spain as revenge for Spain's role in Iraq. If true doesn't that show that there is indeed an alliance between al Qaeda and Iraq?

> NO IT DOESN'T, AT ALL! The lack of logic here is amazing! al Qaeda was "motivated" - or it is an act in opposition to, or in defiace of, the US invasion of Iraq. It doesn't in any way, shape, or form mean that Iraq had anything to do with it, or that Iraq and al Qaeda are in collusion in any way. Simply amazing.
