Summary: Everyone should read this book!
Review: This is a wonderful book that everyone should read. I am a small business consultant and I recommend it to each and every one of my clients. It is simple and easy to read. There is no complicated financial jargon - just straight, easy , guy-next-door conversation interspersed with amusing personal anecdotes from the author's personal financial struggles and amazing incites into why we want stuff - because retailers and credit card companies want us to spend money. It's so simple and yet so many of us miss it!

Review: Financial Peace provides an easy-to-read, common sense approach to managing your finances. The book will help you to get "angry" at your debt and will show you ways to get out of debt and begin saving money for future purchases and retirement. The book does not demean you into following its plan. Rather, it uplifts you spiritually and encourages you to change your thinking towards finances and how they affect not only your life, but the lives of the people around you.One warning though : Be prepared to cut up all of your stupid credit cards after reading this book! You won't want them anymore!

It helps the reader to take control of the money in his or her life and make it work effectively for their benefit. Review: This book on tape captures the essence of Dave Ramsey's highly acclaimed book, "Financial Peace." Much like his highly popular radio show, "The Money Game" and his website "financialpeace.com", Dave provides a common sense approach to personal financial management. He tells you why it make sense for you to get out of debt. He outlines a plan for you to get out of debt. He shows you how to set up your emergency fund, invest for your future, and prepare to change the financial situation of your family tree. All the while, Dave intermingles biblical references as to why this is appropriate behavior. Yes, Dave believes in the personal responsibility of tything. Dave's medicine is sometimes tough to swallow. However, his sincerity is genuine and his message is clear. This book on tape is valuable for you and a great gift for a friend.

Review: This book should absolutely be required reading for all high school graduates. If I had read this book when I was 20, I would be wealthy enough to retire, travel, and do all the things I now wish I had the money to do. Hind-sight may be 20-20, but it sure brings the future into clear focus... mine is to be debt-free in about 8 years. I'm well on my way!

Review: I am the Consumer Affairs and Financial Assistance Program Manager for the Department of the Army in Japan. I have used the audio cassette of Financial Peace for my Financial Management Classes and am always asked how to get a copy of it because they want their spouse to hear it. I refer them to the Amazon website.

Review: Dave Ramsey has changed my life. He has not only helped me with a plan to eliminate debt, but has lifted me spiritually and emotionally. All the while, helping me to be financially stable in the future. I will use his methods with my children and hope to prevent them from having the same problems I have suffered through.

Summary: IT WORKS!
Review: This book has been a god send to us. We were not in terrible financial trouble, however, I got angrier by the month to see how much finance charges we were paying on credit cards. The "debt snowball" plan helps one to visualize the results of your hard work. I have it posted on my refrigerator to remind me daily to keep on the ball. I also have a lovely glass on my windowsill with pieces of cut up credit cards to serve as a further reminder.

Review: The biggest thing I learned was that getting out of debt is emotional not fiscal. Once you learn to live on less than you make, the rest is easy.
