Summary: The Pursuit of Peace
Review: Dave tells you like it is. And he speaks from experience. This book challenges you to take control of your money and enjoy financial freedom. Freedom in his terms means being out of debt and having a plan. Find financial peace by following Dave's solid advice.

Summary: "Better than I deserve!"
Review: National radio talk show host ("THE MONEY GAME" CAN BE FOUND AT BROADCAST.COM) tells how he recovered from a personal bankruptcy and now has acheived financial peace by following God's laws of handling money. This book will give you the information and the inspiration you need to manage your finances. Great book for young couples.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Young couples should read this book!
Review: I read this book a few months ago and I couldn't put it down. This book is a perfect wedding gift. It may prevent a few headaches.

Summary: Financial Peace Review
Review: Overall, the book was somewhat helpful. Although the techniqes recommended are fairly basic and common-sense, it was motivating and does provide some helpful forms at the end for putting a savings plan into action. I found one portion of the book addressing whether your family needs two incomes to be a bit sexist. The entire section was written in terms of whether "she" needs to work, whereas the remainder of the book is written in terms of "he," the assumption being that the man is the main breadwinner.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Must-read for couples starting out
Review: This book is an absolute must-read for couples starting out their lives together. I only wish my wife and I were given this book when we were married--we'd have saved ourselves a lot of heartache from trying to live beyond our means. Now we're fighting to correct several years of mistakes, but we're on the right path for sure! I can't wait to call the radio show one Friday to declare my independence from debt!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Simple steps for simple people.
Review: I read the book in 2 days. Now my wife is reading the book. I enjoyed being a docotor for a few minutes practicing plastic surgery. My wife is only about half way through the book and she turned down our best friends invitation to go out to dinner. This is what we both needed to bring us together with concerns to our finances.

Summary: A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE BEGINNING A NEW STAGE IN LIFE
Review: While this book is geared more towards the home owning 2.5 kids working family, I found it to have a dramatic impact on my newlywed, apt renting, DINK family. Dave actually puts into words what we all know we should do. He also lays out a plan that leaves room for personal adaptation. This book is a must-have for newlyweds, recent graduates, or in-debt families. I close by saying that this book has motivated me not to let debt overtake my family-EVER.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A wonderful book if lived will work for those in debt or not
Review: LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE OF DAVE,S BOOKS...

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great, inspired guide to personal finance
Review: A great, easy to read book, great guide to how to handle your finances right. Very helpful explaining how to deal with different financial institutions.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An insightful, intelligent look on personal finances.
Review: I sat down to read this book with some anxiety. Finances sometimes are very scary, not knowing where your next dollar comes from. Well, Mr. Ramsey has been through it all. I took some peace in that, but as I read the book I found it harder and harder to put it down. I finished it last night and am now excited to tackle my finances. Yes, there is a light at the end of the long dark tunnel of debt, Mr. Ramsey helped me to find it and then focus on it. Thank you!
