Summary: A great Christmas decorating and craft book
Review: Although I have seen a few of the Victoria books, I must say that this issue was mildly disappointing in compared with previous editions. I really think volume 3 was by far the best of the bunch.

Overall, this books gives good ideas about decorating and cooking for Christmas. A good resource for those who like to make their own ornaments and home decorations.

Summary: Holiday magic
Review: I loved this book. The recipes are terrific, the ideas are helpful, and the photos are so pretty the season's special mood comes alive. Even in August it made me feel the spirit of Christmas, and on a sunny summer day, that's saying something!

Summary: Long on looks, short on information
Review: If you are looking for a book that teaches you about how the Victorian's spent Christmas, this is not it (go for "Victorian Christmas" by Kalman and Bedell). If you are looking for a book of beautiful pictures, with minimal decorating, plus gift and recipe selections a la Martha, this is for you. I was disappointed.
