Review: My husband is a restoration carpenter and has been looking for books on the Craftsman and Bungalow styles that incorporate actual details used in homes as well as plans and outlines for making the details yourself. This book has both.

The photographs are excellent and show a very wide variety of Bungalow homes and the truly special details of each. There is also a section on outbuildings and garages that is so much more than we have ever seen in any other book. In addition there was an entire hands on "article" about restoring old windows that will be using shortly!

Overall, very well worth the money as both a pretty coffee table style book with tremendous photos as well as a primer on some of the aspects of building and repairing vintage Craftsman and Bungalow homes.
