Summary: "Must Have Book" for any Feng Shui reader
Review: This is one of the best FengShui book I had ever read and possess. It is a very useful book for Beginner's Level thru Advanced's Level. Author Lillian Too had also published a very good set of small and handy Fengshui books. Do look out for them.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very well written with lots of tips that realy work
Review: This is simply the BEST feng shui book I have ever read. And what is even better is that every tip given by Lillian Too which I have tried has actually worked for me. I have also read her other books and particularly enjoyed DRAGON MAGIC her semi autobiography. She clearly knows what she's talking about and I very highly recommend this book both for beginners and for the home practitioner.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Surprisingly unorganized and superficial.
Review: This was my first book on the subject of Feng Shui, and if I hadn't been determined to understand this practice, I might have given up on researching further. The title "How to apply the Secrets..." is misleading. There is far more information necessary than what is offered in this book, before one can begin to arrange or re-arrange one's habitat. It would be more appropriately described as Basic Skills: Feng Shui - Level I.

Summary: Helpful as outline but incomplete
Review: Visually stimulating presentation and easy, engaging text. Seems to be a good introduction for the feng shui newcomer, however it leaves one hanging ready to read the solution which is often sketchy, confusing, and ambiguous.

Summary: Not even a good coffee table book
Review: When I became interested in learning more about feng shui and trying to incorporate it into my life and living space, I bought several books, including this one. Of the group, this was by far the least helpful. It's primarily a glossy picture book. The discussion is rather disjointed and more of a history of feng shui and existing implementations of it in Hong Kong than a guide for learning. The sections which do give guidance are aimed more toward builders of houses from what I can tell. The limited discussion talks primarily about perfect feng shui structures and condemns "bad" feng shui structures. There's very little, if any, discussion aimed at doing the most with what you have. There is no recognition of the fact that most people don't build their homes from scratch and they don't happen to have perfect feng shui structures by chance. Added into this are a couple of sections on the importance of tacky Chinese tourist knick-knacks, that looked like standard third-rate Chinese restaurant decoration, and that's the sum total of the book. It's packaged in this super-glossy 1980's fashion which is, in my opinion, so five minutes ago, making it unsuitable even for a coffee table. For my purposes of learning the tenets of feng shui and incorporating into my existing life and home, "101 Feng Shui Tips for the Home" by Richard Webster and "The Western Guide to Feng Shui" by Terah Kathryn Collins were much better in addressing my needs.
