Summary: probably the best feng shui book yet !
Review: .. I had been reading so many feng shui books ... and was almost on the verge of giving up finding anything with real recommendations when someone presented me with this beautiful book last Christmas .. now having read it I was surfing the amazon page to look for some more books by Lillian Too when I found this reviews page on this book. so for wahtever its worth let me just say .. your view on feng shui will be forever changed once you read this book. Lillian Too writes in a simple and straight forward manner. She makes feng shui a very interesting subject. This book is one of those which simply have to be read if you want to know about authentic feng shui.

Summary: Great Background Introduction to Feng Shui
Review: A beautifully presented and colourful book. Easy to read and provides an indepth background to Feng Shui. This is great because it helps pull everything together for a better understanding of some of the "rules". I love having this book and share it a lot. Only down side is most of "cures" are brief and now I have to look for a more "problem-cure" book having identified a lot of possible problems. Regards, Nola Fox

Summary: An interesting book on feng shui
Review: I bought this book bec I saw L. Too's seminar being advertized in the UK - and also heard that she was quite big in Malaysia and Australia. Anyway, since I was interested in Feng shui, I picked up her book at a book shop and was quite charmed by the pictures.After reading almost 3/4 of the book, I'm pleased to say that it's really a comprehensive guide. It doesn't cover the aspects of FS very deeply but it explains what FS is about, gives an outline about the different schools(quite well) and gives a few simple formulas which are easy to follow and understand. i'm only a beginner and I found her book quite easy to follow - not complicated. Other books I've seen are quite boring. I heard that L. TOo have more books that are very deep and advanced - and after reading this, I think I can move on to the next level. Just my 2 cents.

Summary: This book changed my life
Review: I bought this book only three months ago and systematically implemented everything that was recommended in this book and I ahveto say that my life has definitely improved. A month after I changed my sitting direction at work, I was given a new assignment which led to a promotion in a raise in salary and shortly after that, just by putting my head in the love direction based on the formula inside her book, I have found love. I have already written to Lillian Too at her website to tell her how happy she has made my life. and I want to write this review to share my discovery of this wonderful book with everyone. If you read this book carefully, you will find that feng shui is not so difficult after all.

Summary: It really works!
Review: I bought this book partly for curiousity and partly to help me redecorate my house. Well, when I applied the principles in this book, not only did my house look great, but other aspects of my life improved as well (health, career, & relationships). Perhaps if your surroundings are in order, your life tends to fall into place. I found this book easy to read, but because different theories of feng shui were presented, it got a bit confusing. Eventually I figured how they're all tied together.

Summary: A book which has really helped me.
Review: I feel I must tell my story. I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 years ago, and the doctors had lost hope in curing me - I am just 32. They gave me an ultimatum and told me I had a year left to live at the most. Desperate, I began to search for other means if Western medicine could not help me. I went to a bookstore to look for books on homeopathy and alternative medicine, but instead, bought Lillian's Complete Illlustrated Guide. After reading and applying her feng shui, I have just been pronounced free of cancer! I cannot believe it myself but am eternally grateful to Lillian and her generousity for sharing all her knowledge with the world. I also know she supports the building of the world's largest Maitreya Buddha statue and many monasteries in Nepal and India and has donated much of her income to these causes. Summary: An excellent introductory book to Feng Shui....
Review: I found myself not reading the book from front to back but instead skipping around. First I looked for the basic fundamentals of how it worked then I started to compare how I could change my own environment from the information that was provided. Her book layout was simply and easy to apply. I did find it confusing when I read Lillian Too's books and then randomly read more books about Feng Shui not realizing there are different sectors of Feng Shui depending on the Master that taught them. Just a tip for someone picking up their first Feng Shui book.

Summary: an excellent Introduction to feng shui
Review: I have just bought Lillian Too's Encyclopaedia and now realsie how skillful this remarkable woman has been in bringing feng shui to the west. this first international book of hers was an excellent introduction and now with the world fully conscious and aware of the merits of practicing feng shui she brings out her Encyclopaedia of feng shui to take the reader deeper into the practice. I have to say that all the tips I obtained from this Intro book really improved my life ... I am Lillian too's lifelong fan and friend.. those who criticise her for being prolific seem to have their own agenda ...and I would urge them to examine their own motives ...
