Summary: A complete, illustrated, and systematic home study course
Review: A Master Course In Feng-Shui is a complete, illustrated, and systematic course for home study in the ancient practice of Feng Shui. Readers will learn how to apply feng shui principles to evaluate the external environment, use a geomantic compass to chart patterns of energy within a building, plan the usage of space, match occupants to a home or apartment, decide upon the appropriate placement of furnishings and furniture, improve the feng-shui of an existing structure with countermeasures, enhancers, and renovations, build a new house from scratch, as well as selecting or designing an apartment, business suite, or retail space. A Master Course In Feng-Shui is enthusiastically recommended reading for students and practitioners of feng shui principles to enhance their accommodations and their personal well-being.

Summary: Thorough and complete
Review: After working through Larry Sang's "Principles of Feng Shui", I decided to check out Eva Wong's book. It is an excellent and in depth approach to classical feng shui. The exercises are very helpful - after doing them, you can see if you truly understood the information presented. Her recommendations are sound and she is truly a thorough and inspired teacher.

Summary: Excellent for beginners
Review: As intereresting as Feng Shui is, it is undeniable it can be a little complicated. This book clearly explains and gives examples and descriptions (even do-it-yourself excersises!) of many situations of good and bad FS. Once you've read and understood the different sections you can actually apply this knowledge to your own home and business. It is not for those who get easily bored, don't really like to read or want something faster for their houses or offices (for you, there's 'Feng Shui DOs & TABOOs', by Angi Ma Wong), but if you really are interested in this subject as science, DO buy it, read it once, twice and then turn your house into whatever kind of place you've always wanted it to be.

Summary: "THE" Book on Fengshui
Review: Fengshui is a complicated subject which really takes years of training. I've bought several books on Fengshui and none of them came to my expectations as this book. This is "THE" book for authentic Fengshui. Most of the books out there are repetitious, explaining Black Tortise, Red Raven, White Tiger, Green Dragon, etc... yes... so?? and??? you wouldn't get the feel of what Fengshui is.
This book lets you get that "mystical" feel of Fengshui. It explains how to use it practically in your life, how to calculate harmonious places in your house, how to really use the compass, etc. I love this book so much. The pages in my book are falling apart, since I flip the pages so often. The book offers a course like study, letting you develop the feel by yourself with the excercise given. By the end of the course, you would be able to adjust your room or house according to the Fengshui rules.

Summary: True Authentic Feng Shui
Review: Forget everything you have previously learned about Feng Shui. Open your mind when you open this book. You will not only learn what authentic FS is but you will also learn how to apply it in your own life. Eva Wong is a highly respected Master and she shares her gift in this book. This book is a must for those interested in learning True Authentic Feng Shui.

Summary: A master course for self study.
Review: Having enjoyed many of Lillian Too's books, I bought this one as soon as it was released. What a disappointment and what confusion! The book wasn't sequenced well and it was hard to know what to focus on in order to understand flying star feng shui. Too many concepts were included that could have been tabled for another book. I hope the Skinner book is more systematic in its approach so I can learn flying star feng shui.

Summary: Excellent book, but beware!
Review: Having read numerous books on the subject, I'd say that Ms. Wong's "A Master Course in Feng Shui" is truly an outstanding one. It's not easy reading, because it deals with very complex subjects, but since it's a workbook, you can always keep checking the level of your understanding.
But! If you have read about and applied either Compass School or Black Sect FS before, beware! Ms. Wong uses Authentic FS and you'll realize it has very little to do with what you've believed about this ancient art of placement earlier, so it might just either confuse or kind of disappoint you. I'd say that if one of those schools have worked for you, just stick with them.
