Review: A true page turner. Does he - doesn't he? Yes! In the end he does make a living. This man could make a wilted Geranium sound interesting. Timeless in it's basic good advice and ahead of it's time tracking future horticultural trends. An inspiring and informative tome for anyone looking to make a lasting impression on their local landscape. A book you'll want to share with your friends. Fairly good as compost even.

Summary: A tad bit outdated for me.. I need more information
Review: Great book on how to start up a landscaping business but I need more information directed at lawn maintenance...However I pass it on to a friend who loved it and is making $5000 a month as a landscape subcontractor after 60 days in business... sure beats his old salary of $1800 a month. Now he works outside and great hours and no corporate bull jive!! Easy to read and easy to follow but you will need to seek more books on WHAT TO DO and HOW TO DO THE PROJECTS!! =)

Review: I have found Owen's book to be a delightfully well written resource for starting a home-based landscaping business. The real life, experienced based business advice he shares is worth much more than the purchase price of his book. I have other resource books at hand, but Owen's book has become my favorite.

Review: This is a very thorough book compiled by Owen. I read the book in a week and re-read it many times. It is an excellant reference tool that can be used a single point source for future use for both experienced contractors and begineers. I would highly recommed ypu read this book. It is well worth the investment!
