Summary: Average book
Review: 1. I sent two e-mails to David Daniel Kennedy and didn't get respond. 2. He advises one thing, L.Too advises opposite thing. Who is right? I'm confused.

Summary: A bit of a letdown...
Review: After reading "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Feng Shui," I was hungering for more knowledge. What a disappointment to purchase this similarly titled book and find the "faux" Feng Shui packaged for the masses I'd been trying to avoid. This book deals with the Black Hat sect approach to feng shui, as opposed to the compass school. It certainly has merit, but it's like trying to predict the weather by the way you "feel" as opposed to using a barometer.

Summary: Mc Feng Shui
Review: Although easily digested, this book is full of fluff! The book is rife with empty remedies. If you're skeptical, look at some of the rituals that the author touts. He incorporates Tibetan mantras (Feng shui is Chinese in origin, not Tibetan) and says that a powerful ritual incorporates sinibar. Sinibar is a red powder that contains mercury. You'd have to be insane to think that this "effective" ritual is good for your home! If you're only looking to do some kind of ritual to turn around your luck, go ahead and buy the book for the placebo effect. Otherwise, take a few minutes and do some research on the Internet.

Summary: superb!
Review: As a new student of Feng Shui, I found this book along with D.D. Kennedy's Feng Shui Tips For a Better Life to be extremly informative & easy to understand. Having read 9 books, I feel the most comfortable with the Ba Gua method--but then that's a highly personal choice.
