Review: Senior Theatre Connections: The first directory of senior theatre performing groups, professionals and resources is my find of the year! As someone interested in working with seniors in a creative and active fashion, this directory offerred not only excellent and hard to find resources, but triggered ideas for future ways to empower seniors and advocate for their continued artistic contributions as well as their active role in the arts community. I am also giving this directory to both a former professor from college and a former actor-friend of mine for Christmas this year. Thanks to the author, there is a wealth of information in here. Summary: This directory is long overdue!
Review: When I first began writing plays for senior theaters and audiences, I would have killed for the information in Bonnie Vorenberg's "Senior Theatre Connections." Now that this directory exists, I don't know how I survived without it. Senior theater names, addresses, descriptions - they're all there (including international groups). This slick publication is a must for anyone interested in the growing senior theater movement and an inspiration for those thinking about starting their own senior company.

I can't recommend it too highly!
