Review: First, let me say that this book is quite pricey .... I... Having said this, I found the book very helpful. It outlines how KIDS CARE CLUB was founded and how you can start your own version. I first learned about Kids Care through a brief notice in the business/tech section of my local newspaper which mentioned the Kids Care website. Kids Care Clubs offer kids and youth opportunities to serve those in their communities through a wide variety of hands-on projects. The book outlines how Kids Care got its start in Connecticut. The book also contained a number of possible service projects for a Kids Care Club to consider. What I found especially helpful was the insight the author shared on which types of service projects were most meaningful to the kids.
