Review: I enjoyed the realistic approach to good health in this book. He balances the best that natural health methods has to offer with the current methods of western medicine. The authors have a concern for the african american family that comes out in their encoouragement to employ sound methods of preventing the diseases most common in the black family. A must have on each families bookshelf!

Review: This book was quite informative and easy to read and easy apply the doctor's recommendations. I've purchased several of Dr. Weil's books but I was quite impressed that this book is tailored toward problems associated with my ethnic group - this was important to me.

They also respond very quickly to your requests online if you have questions. I would suggest that anyone buying this book not use it to replace their current therapies but to augment it. Can't wait for the second edition!
