Summary: A Great Graduation Gift!!
Review: Excellent advise and Godly wisdom on everything that a young woman will encounter as she moves out on her own. It includes how to take care of your health as well as your appearance, how to budget and invest for financial security, and how to develope and maintain strong relationships. The authors give essential practical advise on everything from how to buy and care for your car to settling into a new city and/or your chosen career. And it is written in a warm, friendly style that is fun to read and easy to understand. Reading it is like having a conversation with an older sister who has learned the ropes.

There are lots of scary first experiences out there? I'll bet this book will give the reader the confidence she needs face the "dragons" and come out on top.

How I wish something like this was available when I was striking out on my own. I'm giving to every female graduate I know.

Summary: Latte for one and loving it.
Review: This book offers a well-rounded approach to life as a single woman (which I happen to be) as opposed to books dealing merely with dating and marriage. Sure, there are a few chapters regarding aspects of dating, but this book delves into so much more such as renting vs. buying a home, managing finances, taking care of your health, and going for your dreams, to name a few. The authors creatively weave spiritual insight, practical advice and applicable stories together to guide the single independent woman in all aspects of her life.

Summary: Latte for One and Loving It
Review: This is the perfect book for any young woman going out on her own--a natural for a graduation gift. However, my 75-year-old widowed mother said she found a lot of good advice for any single woman in both the practical and spiritual areas. Being a married woman, I found many spiritual truths to ponder and a very fresh outlook on many subjects.

Summary: Latte for one and loving it.
Review: This title is deceptive. It's not "Latte for one and loving it" - it's more like "Latte for one while you find a man". The first four chapters deal with dating. The tone of the book is that you're not complete with a man, that getting married is the ultimate goal, and that this book will help until you achieve that goal. But if you're single and want to be happy being single, this book will be depressing.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Questionable
Review: You can pick and choose what you like from this book. Some of the advice ranges from "look good to attract a man" (as opposed to "look good because it makes YOU feel good")to practical budgetary advice. I found myself shocked at some of the 1950's style advice, but enlightened by some of the stories told. The advice seems overall pretty basic...not necessarily aimed at a single woman who has been out in the world awhile.
