I'm a Certified Financial Planner™, and a member of the Alliance of Cambridge advisors, an organization of fee-only financial advisors, whose founder, Bert Whitehead (author of Facing Financial Dysfunction,) has always recommended that clients consider using savings bonds as a portion of a well-diversified portfolio. These often overlooked securities have attractive features and attributes that, when understood, should appeal to most savers and investors. Never invest without understanding.
