Summary: Discover The Greek In You
Review: After reading Greek Coffee I felt as if I was sitting back watching my whole life pass. Every detailed scene reminded me of my "yiayia" and the things she would do. This was an excellent manner in which to describe Greeks and our culture with out all the "hollywood" hype. It's a MUST read.

Summary: From the heart
Review: As the previous reviewer stated, the sorts of things that he went through really are quite amazing.

However, to my surprise - given the titillating nature of real story behind his kidnapping - I found that the vivid recounts of the therapy sessions he went through even more gripping!

It's not often that you find an author willing to expose himself to his readers like this.

Very good.

Summary: a must read
Review: I recently finished this novel, which was recommended by one of my friends. Author George Molho tells the world of a painful childhood with devastating occurences, but he also shares the source of his strength, his grandparents. Both survivors of the holocaust, he relates his grandparents struggle of starting over, building a new life. Also, through their children , we see what affects the war had on not only the grandparents, but his mother, aunt, and uncles as well. His description of each persons character allows the person to become real. He also is very gifted in his writing style, his words flow across the pages as illustrations are made in the mind. The story allows the reader to relate to events in his life, and to learn from mistakes. His psychological approach is brilliant. Through analyzation, it is apprent that he fully understands people, life, and how things work. Anyone who reads this will have a new perspective on life, if his whole family can endure what they did, than our problems are not as difficult as they may seem to be. We can also learn more about ourselves and interactions with others. You cannot put this book down withought some growth. With emotional, spiritual, mental, the reader has gained a new helpful insight on life. I highly recommend this book to anyone. You might need a dictionary though, because his eloquent writing included some vocabulary I was unfamilar with, but I learned new words and that is never bad.

Summary: This should be a movie!
Review: Mr. Molhos' story is incredible. To be able to go through what he & his family have - from his grandparents surviving The Holocaust, to being kidnapped by his own father, to emerging from a torturous divorce - and to come out with such a great & positive view on life is simply amazing!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels that their own problems are getting the best of them. It's quite inspirational.
