Summary: Disappointed in this book
Review: This book is clear, easy to read, and has a good break-down of signs, what to do, when to call the doctor. However, it's lacking in information. The entire reason I own books like this is to have a reference to turn to in the event something is happening to me or my family and to find out what's wrong. Both times I've referred to it, it hasn't contained any information on what my actual issues were (acid reflux causing chest pain and sores in my daughter's mouth being caused by Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease, which is a common viral infection in kids). If you're planning to purchase two medical reference books, make this one of them. But don't buy it if you just want a know-all, end-all medical book, because this is certainly not it.
