Rating: Summary: Fifty can be fabulous! Review: A tell it like it is fun read full of wit and wisdom.
Rating: Summary: Loved this book! Review: I was very impressed with this author's straight-forward and sincere, warm and funny tone. This is one of the best books I've read for those of us who've found ourselves in the "over the (fill in the blank)" category of dating singles. Stagner has some of the best advice I've read on the subject. She is brave enough to go against conventional wisdom with tips like not always telling the truth (about age, for example) and why we don't really need self-esteem to succeed in the dating scene. Buy it for yourself, buy it for a friend or your newly-divorced sister. Even the married can benefit by the book's candid (and did I say funny?) wisdom.
Rating: Summary: I'VE GOT A LOT OF LIVING TO DO! Review: If you've still got a lot of living you want to do then please read Baby Boomer Bachelorette. I did and loved it.Patsy Stagner, the author (and my bachelorette hero), is darn mad at the way society scans our chronological bar code, labels us, and puts us on the shelf with an expiration date attached. After reading her book I no longer feel I'm hurdleing head long down a lonely road toward a DEAD END sign. Patsy reminds us of the importance of having a purpose and a dream, and gives us the tools to get there.

Rating: Summary: Thanks for the Courage to Tell It Like It Is Review: Life is not over once you cross the 40-line -- and you're still single. Stagner's book is cleverly written, captivating and useful. Ladies on the lookout for love at that age will get a kick out of "Cooking for Love," which is chick-lit for the over-40 set.
Rating: Summary: Charting the different world of midlife dating Review: Single baby-boomers re-entering the world of over-forty dating will find Patsy Stagner's Baby Boom Bachelorette a unique guide charting the different world of midlife dating. From assessing 'baggage' and whom to date to locating bachelors and getting noticed, Stagner provides many candid tips based on practical real-world experience.
Rating: Summary: Before You Die Books Review: The subtitle of this book is How to Have S** (the stars are mine) at Least Once More Before You Die. AT LEAST! A boomer myself, I found this book to be a funny and fast read with lots of how-to information on internet dating and sex (not internet sex - the real kind). And when you find your new companion, try Schultz's book, 1,000 Places to Visit Before You Die. It's interesting and inspiring with lots of good information about great places to visit. (I can verify only two so far and the author was right!)
