Summary: Awesome Gift
Review: I gave this book to my teenage cousins and they loved it as did their mother. Their mom said it was a hilarious and insightful walk through those tricky years. And I got a great thank you note from the girls. I'm not surprised the book is in its 4th edition.

Summary: The BEST!!!!!!!!!
Review: I just read this book and I TOTALLY feel like Carol Weston is my personal friend! Or my sister like the title says....lol!!!

Seriously, Girltalk has the perfect answers for questions about friends, guys, parents, etc. You feel like you are having a conversation, not being lectured at.

Summary: Great reference book for girls
Review: I love this book. I have used this book many times for my own information. As an educational consultant I have recommended it to many teen age girls. All my clients have found it most helpful and their mothers have, too.

Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!
Review: I was so glad to buy this new edition of GIRLTALK because to tell you the truth, my old copy was falling apart because I've read it so many times. Plus the new edition has new websites and lots of new info and letters from girls too. The reason why GIRLTALK is one of my favorite books (I recommend it to everybody!) is because it covers every question I have ever thought of. I used to read it to find about friendship stuff, and today I was actually looking at the chapter about tips for taking the SATs and SAT IIs. You'll love it!!!

Summary: The best book of its kind!
Review: I'm a mother and teacher and I'm really glad that Carol Weston took the time to write this book! It is incredibly thorough and manages to strike the perfect balance between 100% trustworthy and totally readable and funny. Whether she's explaining how to navigate the tricky world of middle school friendships or explaining how to deal with teenage temptations, the author hits the nail on the head. Your daughter will thank you for getting her this book--and you will sleep better at night! By the way, my kids were fans of Weston's novels for younger kids too. Her website is carolweston.com.

Summary: The one book a girl these days MUST have!
Review: This is the real thing...wise, clear, brutally honest and sincere. Carol Weston understand the joys and challenges of growing up female, being in limbo between girlhood and womanhood and being pulled in different directions between the strong voices of peers, parents and the often too quiet voice of true self. This is a book my eleven year old daughter has sunk her teeth into, and it will serve her in a way that no corny "Chicken Soup for the..." will. Growing up isn't always neat and tidy, and sex, divorce, boys, etc. are topics that girls need to think about. Carol Weston can reach them like no other writer I know. Beautifully written, moving and genuine, this book takes hold in a way that a squeamish birds and the bees talk is unable to.Our girls need to know this stuff, and parents, you do too!
