Review: I don't know why this book is out of print - it had a profound impact on me and everyone I lent it to. It addressed so many painful issues in my life that were directly related to my relationship with my father. It explained why I feel the way I do about so many things, and released tears that had been dormant inside me for so many years. Read this if, for one reason or another, you didn't have a "daddy" - it hurts to read it, but brings you toward healing. And there's no other book quite like it.

Review: This book offers many valuable insights into why women with absent fathers(Physical and Emotional) have the struggles that they do in relationships in later life. Although it can be painful to read, the knowledge is actually very freeing. The author ties much of her healing into christianity, which offers a solid foundation for a truer path. It takes courage to read this book - but you will never regret it.

Review: This book was exactly what i needed!! I recieved such a healing from reading this book. It gave me a greater understanding of why i was having such a hard time trusting God. It is a very easy to read book. Goes right to the heart of the matter. If you have a problem trusting God,"because he is male", sort of thing, then this is the book for you. Learn how to go into a personal relationship with Him.

I needed to read what was contained in that book; it gave me good ideas on how to deal with my own family situation. The author lets women know that they can have the courage to move on and not let the past failings of dads who couldn't and/or wouldn't be there for them cloud their lives.

Review: This is really an awesome, powerful, life changing book. The information and understanding in these pages helped me to be able to identify why it was that i was having such a hard time learning to trust God, man, life. This book changed my life. Helped lead me into the direction of learning to have an intimate relationship with God. Very powerful, hit the nail on the head, book. Read it, it is worth it. I had bought 3 other copies and gave them to my friends.

Review: Though written for women, fathers of daughters can learn a lot from this book on the importance of healthy relationships with their daughters. Her future life and happiness depend heavily on you setting an example that will stay with her the rest of her life. Women without a "Daddy" in their lives will benefit greatly in understanding why they feel the way they do about many things.
