Rating: Summary: Excellent recipes Review: This book is wonderful. It is filled with recipes that are nutritious, use common ingredients found at your local grocery store, and are easy to make (even for a not-so-great cook)! My child happily eats the dishes I have made so far. I highly recommend this book and could not be happier that I am giving my child proper nourishment that tastes so good!
Rating: Summary: Two Fingers Up! Review: This cookbook has great ways to sneak in the ever contentious vegetable! The recipes are easy, quick, and I really appreciate the freezing suggestions. This makes providing nourishment a lot easier for a busy or working mom like myself. Being a visual person, pictures would make this book a five but hey, its a paperback and it is worth a try for the reasonable price. This book will give you some great ideas.
Rating: Summary: great cookbook for non-cooks Review: This cookbook is wonderful. My husband and I don't have the most nutritious eating habits, but I can make any recipe in this book and be assured that my child is getting everything he needs. They all freeze well, too. My only complaint is that a few of the bread recipes turn out too dry. But, the main meals and vegetable recipes have all worked out with no complaints!
Rating: Summary: The best child cook book Review: This is the best child cook book I have read. The recipes are easy to make and the food is great! At first, I was a little turned off by it but the more I've used it the more I've come to love it. It has great recipes to make usual things fun and interesting. Healthy cooking made easy.
Rating: Summary: This book should be a national best seller!! Review: This is the book I have been looking for since my son turned about 8 months old. This little gem is packed with delicious, nutritous foods that your little eater can pick up and pop in his own mouth. So far I've made 4 of her recipes and all 4 have been gobbled up as fast as he can eat them. Since she packs so many good things into each recipe, I know that every bite he takes gives him a variety of essentials, instead of wondering if he ate enough vegetable, enough protein, etc. She uses normal everyday ingredients that I have on hand without being afraid to include spices, herbs, onions, garlic, etc. I definitely don't want to raise a kid who won't touch food that has a speck of pepper or an herb, and these recipes are the right step toward raising a child with a taste for all types of food. Oh, did I forget to mention that everything I've made is absolutely delicious for mama, too? I ate about half the pan of Lemony Tuna Squares by the time my son had eaten his fill. As a single parent, being able to sit with him and eat the same food is wonderful for both of us. I have recommended this book to all of my todder-mom friends and if you want to raise a healthy eater then you need this book! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Rating: Summary: Easy, nutricious, and a great gift idea. Review: When my grandaughter moved into table food, my son asked for some help. He and his wife were tired of eating and serving the same things. Of course, with table food came the independence of eating "by myself". The combination proved challenging for the family. After reviewing multiple books for "finger foods", I found Victoria Jenest's the best. Easy recipes, fun food for the entire family and healthy for all. I now give this book to friends and family when their meal time turns to a "battle of wills".
Rating: Summary: Buy this somewhere else Review: With Amazon.com's high "shipping and handling" fees, this little leaflet cost me almost $9. It's worth a couple of dollars at most, but might be better as a freebie thrown in with another order. Learn from my mistake and don't order it all by itself, or you will certainly be disappointed.
