Review: Unfortunately, this book wouldn't exist if breaking the taboo was truly unthinkable. Many people have thought of it and have, as a result, severely damaged and sometimes even contributed to the deaths of their sons. ...This book can be difficult to read, especially if you're one of the sons, or a person trying to have a healthy life now with one of them. Read this book when you have time to reflect on it, and in a safe quiet environment in which you have ready access to supportive people. This title is insightful for anyone interested in the subject, but for partners of these victimized boys-now-men, you might also consider the book: "When the Other Woman is His Mother." Both are sound investments for professionals, partners and survivors.
