Rating: Summary: Save your money -- nothing new here Review: This book was a huge disappointment because it offered me nothing new in the way of ideas for saving time. I mean come on, how many people are not capable of thinking up some of these ideas on their own? Ideas such as "decide what you and your children will wear the next day before you go to bed the night before," "assign chores," or "use a dirty clothes basket" have been around the block for years.Mom also receives such well-worn ideas such as plan menus, choose a simple hairstyle, and turn off the t.v. during meals. My favorite, though, was the comment under clothing that suggests that picking out an outfit the night before gives you "more time to teach them [your children] how to mend garments, reinforce buttons, put in a hem, or clean stains." Get real! How many children are going to "put in a hem?" After making it through Timesavers #1 through #51, it was a shock to turn the page and discover #52 Pray For Your Children, as if the religious aspect of one's life is the last thing thought of in this book. If religion is important in your life, why regulate it to #52? Save your money and your time -- skip this book entirely and spend the time it would take to read talking with your friends instead.
