Summary: Good Things Come To Those Who Wait
Review: BECOMING WHOLE BEFORE BECOMING ONE is a candid and scripturally based book
about preparing oneself for marriage. The author, Sandra Scott, shares
her personal story of overcoming an abusive marriage which she chose out of
loneliness and not out of God's perfect will or plan for her life. Scott
describes the hardships that she experienced as a result of her rash decision.

Additionally, she discusses the various complexes that are evident in people
that cause them to make bad decisions when choosing a mate. Stressing the
necessity for people to be biblically grounded and God-centered when embarking
on a quest for a mate, Scott makes her points by giving supporting scriptures
and using modern day parables that describe the situations that may be faced
by lost and lonely souls.

BECOMING WHOLE BEFORE BECOMING ONE is a refreshing and inspiring read.
I enjoyed the biblical references and the parables helped to illustrate her
points well. Scott relies heavily on her personal experiences and as a result,
abusive situations get alot of attention. I would recommend this book to
anyone who is comtemplating marriage.
