Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: My thoughts..... Review: I have only read the first chapter of this book (so basically you should ignore this review) but I find it disgusting that any parent would have the audacity to produce a book marvelling at their child's "genius" and expect anyone else to be interested. This is especially absurd since JP's films are for the most part completely mediocre and the product of a technically proficient, somewhat creative kid who's been given the best in filmmaking equipment by his parents. Ms. Gal's writing is acceptable but uninteresting to an amazing extent. She finds nothing insightful or fresh in her life, merely depicting the major events of JP's life as if he was already Steven Spielberg. Even were Spielberg himself the subject of this work, it would be a dull waste of paper. I'm sorry to be so brutal but the false modesty of this self-proclaimed "fool" and her son is grating. I hope Ms. Gal's suspense novels are better.
