Summary: A Fascinating Glimpse Into the Journey of Motherhood
Review: Although I've never experienced the process of bringing a child into the world, I found this book both educational and fascinating. So many people fail to realize the myriad changes that come with the birth of a child--and before. I feel that many children would have a better start in life if more parents were aware of the magnitude of responsibility involved. Davis enumerates the joys--and trials of prospective motherhood in clear, unpretentious prose. I was especially enthralled by the birth of little Michelle at the end of the book. Having read all about her beginnings, I look forward to reading Davis's successive books to discover how this precious little girl turns out.
